LOVE these!! These look so realistic I have bought three sets. I use these outside in my lanterns on the porch and they are beauitful... they look soooo real! You will love them like me!!

The lighting and different settings are great, wished they were more real looking.

I was very skeptical buying these for two new beautiful lanterns for my front porch. I've gone through countless wax candles that keep melting from sun exposure, so I finally gave up and decided to try "fake" candles. I also was intrigued by the idea of a timer that turned the candles on and off. After wading through 100 reviews of different products, I settled on these. Reasons: (1) somewhat realistic look, (2) candle wick that's not hidden/ "melted" into wax body, which seems to be typical of a lot of these fake candles, and (3) set it and forget it timer. I've now had these for a week, and am very happy w them. The timer (one remote controls both) WORKS, and they turn on and off every night, after 4 hours, by themselves. Equally important, the "flickering" setting does make it look real, particularly in the evening. I am really happy w this purchase. I will update again in a month or so.

The sealed waterproof twist cap on the battery door component is impossible to twist off by hand when using these candles in an outside setting amongst the outside weather elements (sun, rain, etc.) My husband even put a lubricant on the outside lip of the battery door the first time he removed it to replace the batteries but it still would not budge when twisting it off the second time, so the plastic center finger rail broke off when he had to use a tool (wrench) on both candles so we could open it up to replace the dead batteries. Therefore having to leave both candle units without the battery doors which defeats the waterproof component to the candles. Poor battery door component design (plastic twist off). They should redesign this so you can just clip the door in place once removing and replacing the batteries and then place a small screw in the battery door component to tighten it up and to prevent any outside weather elements from corroding the battery components and/or batteries.

I bought these for two large lanterns I have indoors and they are absolutely perfect. They are very realistic and the flame absolutely looks real. Love these.

Very nice

I Love the very substantial, bright & very fair priced candles! They are pure white & on their own, without any decoration or when not inside a lantern, they could look rather cheap. *BUT when spruced up with flowers & greens. Or especially when lit up/turned on, Look Great!! I bought 8 candles. All worked perfectly, except one. (It needs to be turned on & off manually. It will not work with the remote). I emailed customer service & they were very prompt to answer me. After I replied by email regarding my exact issue, providing order numbers & my address. They very promptly resent another set of 2 more candles. Along with another remote. (Unfortunately, out of those 2, one of the replacement candles, does not light up at all). But I am still highly satisfied because I received a good replacement for my 1 original, problematic candle. (Which I can still use manually, without the remote). Thank you for the Excellent Customer Service. These Candles are a “Stand-Out” outside. And make awesome night lights with the remote inside.

These are so beautiful and provide just the write touch for our front door step.
