What crimp tool is recommended to handle these connectors? These connectors do not fit in the tool rated for crimping 45amp. Please link me the tool.

I just used a Klein hand crimpers but you could use a small hammer and a punch on a solid surface to do the crimp. Terminal ends are somewhat soft where the wirei Klein Tools 1005 Cutting / Crimping Tool for 10-22 AWG

How do you aseemble the connectors? I soldered the wire to the funny looking terminal. But how do you insert that spade lug into the connector?

If you look at the end of the terminal the tip has a curved notch. The cavity in the body has a piece of thin metal that has tension to it thats angled toward the face of the cavity. Insert the terminal into the cavity and it will take a little effort because of the spring tension of the terminal lock, but insert the terminal so that when pushed in the terminal will push down on the lock and the curved notch slides over the end of the lock and catches.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKpeCwzxlJY

Why will these not plug into my existing anderson power which are sb50? thoughts?

If they are genuine Anderson and the same color, they should slide into each other. If they are genuine and the same color, check for damage of your current housings.

Will these work on a apc smt1500 ups to replace the existing connector?
