This cocoa powder is absolutely delicious!!! I had no idea there could be such a huge difference between brands and always used Hershey Dark. I bought this for a specific recipe and now I use it in my chocolate banana muffins. They are to die for. It really made a huge difference in flavor and I think texture. Worth every penny!

Flavor to me is not too intense. I still prefer Hersheys Special Dark. I use the chocolate powder in my shakes.

The best black cocoa powder! I needed a black cake for a my son’s 4th birthday. The icing I used black cocoa, butter, confectioners sugar, and a little milk. It was the perfect combo of dark chocolate with sweet. I didn’t have to use black gel paste or dye. It’s great quality!

It’s pretty good and I preferred to Hershey’s Special Dark although more expensive. Darker color and stronger flavor than the Double Dark version. The Double Dark version also has fruity notes that I did not want but this doesn’t have that

This is the cocoa that is used for Oreo cookies - that dark, not too sweet, chocolate flavor. I used it to make brownies, and a couple of people really enjoyed it, but several others were put off by the deep, dark flavor. I think it's a good product to blend with other types of cocoa because it adds depth with a concentrated flavor. Also, you cannot beat the quality of the King Arthur Flour products - it's an employee-owned company that provides consistent results in baking and cooking.
