CHIOnyx Euroshine 1" Straightening Hairstyling Iron With 4" Extended Plates, Black

I’ve always wanted a chi but I’ve always went with other straighteners that claimed they did this and they did that but they DID NOT! I have very curly hair that is prone to frizz after straightening due to any humidity or sweat. My hair would curl back up and be a frizzy mess. Until now, I haven’t found a straightener that has straightened my hair and it is perfect! No frizz, beautiful silkiness and stays straight until I wash it again. I do use chi hair products with the straightener but it alone is amazing! Perfect size and does the job in half the time as any other straightener I’ve owned and I don’t even have to blow my hair out first! My hair is extremely long and I worried it would take awhile because of it not being but a 1” width but no, it has cut the time I spend in half! It keeps constant and consistent temperature and doesn’t not make my hair smell like it is burning! I absolutely love it!!!! Would definitely recommend to others and will buy again if need be!!!!! Buy it, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!!

This iron heats up really fast, no need to sit and wait. I have really thin hair, so I don’t like irons you have to hold down to get it straight. I literally just ran it through in a few mins and voila! My hair was smooth and looked like I’d spent time on it, but it was less than 5 mins to achieve a finished look. This is perfect, I used to always leave the house with air dried hair because I wanted to avoid damage and the time it takes to style my hair. I’ll update if I notice breakage down the road, but so far so good!

Thus item is awesome. Heats up quickly, straightens the hair in one pass and glides easily without pulling on the hair. Highly recommend .

I have very frizzy hair and this flat iron is amazing!! It leaves my hair smooth and shiny! It comes with a pouch that you can wrap the iron in when you are done to store it safely and lay it on when you are heating it up! This is a must have!

I like how this flat iron heats up a lot more faster than my old Revlon one that I've been using for 5 years now, and I needed something to replace it.I have always wanted a CHI hair straightener, and I felt like this one was good for my purposes as I have colored hair. It does the job well, you can control the temperature, and the cord is super long.The only thing to be aware of is that the temp. control button is in the inside, instead of on the outside.

The media could not be loaded.  Less than a minute it’s ready to straighten your hair. Great product.

I bought this flat iron because my hairdresser used it and my hair came out banging. She was able to straighten with one pass. Couldn’t tell you what type of hair I have. I bet it was what I like the call stylist magic. I can never duplicate at home. However when I straighten from scratch I’ll update how it does.So far so good with touch ups. Heats up fast and the digital display is very nice. The on off and temperature buttons are on the inside. No more accidental turn off like my old iron. The cooling mat is great and the cord is super long. The plates are longer and the end of the flat iron doesn’t get neuclear hot so you are able to hold at the end. If you are particular about what temp you need this may not be for you because there are only 5 presets. 370, 390, 410, 435, 450.However like one other reviewer stated it does have a chemical smell after it’s turned on. I’ve only used a few times but the smell has not gone away. Smell doesn’t transfer to hair but it is kind of unnerving because it seems like something is not right. I may return and buy at Ulta with hopes that the smell is not in that package. Will update

Heats up super fast, easy to use, works great. No snags or uneven heating. Comes with a heatproof pad/wrap. Every time I get something other than CHI, I regret it. No regrets here!

I have been wanting a new CHI flat iron for years now and I was very intrigued when I saw this one.I am so happy I decided to purchase it!I own and have tried many different flat irons in the past but what I love about this particular one is it makes my hair pin-straight, staying that way the whole day- it’s amazing.The onyx-ceramic plates definitely add more shine and silkiness and they glide effortlessly over my hair. The heat-up time is quick and I like the digital screen and the different heat settings it offers (up to 450F!). I’m also impressed with how lightweight and comfortable it feels overall as I am using it.I was hesitant about the price at first but honestly after seeing the results this does to my hair, I have no regrets.Since using this flat iron, I have gotten so many compliments! It’s worth it for sure.

I used to have long hair in my teenage years, and the original CHI was my tool of choice for straightening. Thing lasted nearly 20 years until the on/off switch broke. I'm growing my hair out again and as you can see, the "before" shot displays terrible hair - that's how it comes out of the shower after drying. The "after" pic is after 5 minutes of using the CHI. Be warned, heat protection is absolutely essential when using flat irons, I just use the CHI 44 iron guard myself. I can't attest to the longevity of the iron, but it's already taken one hard fall with not a scratch to show for it.All in all I would absolutely recommend this flat iron.
