Appears be well-made and durable. It's a heavier material than most grill covers. And it fits perfectly. With the stack/tower for the smoker section, I had doubts of the fit. But, those doubts proved to be of no concern.Also, it has Velcro strips on each end to keep the cover in place, even during higher winds. For the price, I am extremely happy with the grill cover. I would highly recommend it to anyone with this model grill.It is money well-spent.

Ratings are after only 1 day of having this cover, therefore durability and weatherproof are my perception based on the material and quality of the product out of the package thus I cannot give an honest 5 stars. I may come back and revise if I find differently, including upgrading to 5stars after this next few months of weather we will have. On to the reviewI recently acquired an RT1250.Please know that I am sure that the RecTeq grill cover for the 1250 is a super high quality cover with a fantastic curve hugging fit that for most is perfectly wonderful and will work spectacularly and show off what is under that custom cut (cooking pun intended) grill cover...However, I am a self admitted bull in a china shop Klutz type person and after reading other reviews that the RecTeq brand cover is an excellent cover but a bit snug and has a tendency to tear if your not careful, I got a bit nervous given that by the 3rd or 4th time i were to remove or put on the cover I would be in a hurry and not mindful of the skinny jean brand name fit , I set about trying to find an alternative, More like a 501-Levi loose fit type cover.Here is the challenge, the RT1250 (and RT700) pellet hopper is on the back whereas most (nearly all) other pellet grill hoppers are on the side. Subsequently, and logically, nearly all off-brand covers are only 22-28" deep, while the RecTeq is 32" deep with the front tray folded down. After figuring this out, and coming up empty when searching for confirmed RT1250 fit by the off-brand sellers my next inclination was to just get the biggest (widest) generic cover I could find and drape it over like some big tented cover. I was about to do that when I stumbled across this golden egg laying goose......The Acoveritt Heavy duty Waterproof Grill cover for Charcoal offset smokers.Now, here is the catch, There is ONLY 1, and i do mean ONLY 1 version of this grill cover that works, and when I went to go back and write a review on amazon, it does not pop up even when I click on my invoice description or "buy again" links, only the smaller size does, so you have to be absolutely 100% positive you are ordering the right size. For reference purposes the ASIN number is b07pcp3vqgHowever, WARNING, if you pop that in the amazon search bar as of this moment it will just bring up the smaller size, so that is why I say be careful.Remember the RT1250 is 56x32x50This Acoveritt cover is 59x38x48That's correct, the 38" is the depth. It arrived yesterday and fits perfectly with some room to spare. It is not baggy, it comes down to the lower shelf and the logo ends up on the backside of the grill because the smokestack pouch is on the left side if you have the logo facing front.Like I said at the beginning, If you want the best cover with the perfect fit, and use proper technique I am positive the RT1250 grill cover is the best option. But if you are like me and need a bit of "cushion" or a bit more margin of error availability, then this 59" wide acoveritt cover may be a better option.I know I am being redundant but I cannot stress strongly enough that you verify the option you order has the 38" depth.Note that the pics are the cover straight out of the package over my grill, so you can still see the folds from packing that will flatten out over time. Also, there are straps and self adhesive hook/loop (velcro) roll included that I have not researched how to use yet but I am sure will make the fit look a little better.

For what they want for these in your local store this is a great value. I haven't had it long enough to attest to the durability but it looks like it should be good.
