TimexMen's Expedition Acadia Full Size Watch

Amazing watch for the price. Bought it to wear for work/everyday use. It’s taken a few good hits and the face doesn’t scuff or scratch. I love that the band is velcro for just the right fit. All in all I’d say this watch is worth a little more then what they’re charging and would recommend if you’re looking for something for basic daily use.

I like to know what time it is if I wake up in the middle of the night. I have a smartwatch and a conventional wrist watch with a metal bracelet. I wear that one at night but it's uncomfortable sometimes and restrict my movements. My smartwatch has a very comfortable nylon bracelet, but I don't wear it at night since it has to charge more or less daily. So I was looking for a conventional watch with a similarly comfy wrist band to wear instead of my other watch with the metal band.This fits the bill perfectly. It's easy to read at night as the hands glow in the dark, plus there's the Indiglo feature in case the hands' photoluminescence isn't enough. The bracelet is very comfortable to wear 24/7 and the velcro closure feels very secure. As a whole, the watch feels nice and sturdy and I'm quite happy with the purchase for the $40 price!I haven't tested the water resistance but trust that it works according to spec.Its ticking is somewhat loud but it doesn't bother me.

Oh man, this is a nice watch. I dig simplicity and function-over-form and this watch scratches that itch.Handsome, easy-to-read numbers. Excellent light-up face. Even has glow in the dark hour and minute hands. Second hand also simple and attractive.Watch band is nice and comfortable, too.

My father left me his Timex work watch when he passed. It is over 60 years old, the facing has yellowed with time, but to this day, if I wind it , it still works and keeps accurate time. Timex has been around longer than almost any other brand and as Cameron Swazey used to used on the ads " Takes a licking and keeps on ticking". Probably not pretentious enough for todays generation but will always be the choice for the serious working class "Retro" generation.

I had this watch a week and the light stopped working. The hands don't glow in the dark like there suppose to.
