A chubby-looking rice, it's fluffy in texture. It's not flavorsome or tasty enough to be eaten on its own (in the cooked form), but it's really nice to be served with veg/meat dishes or as sushi rice.

Flavorful clean rice that preserves pleasant texture. I make it in an instant pot with some nigella seeds and a piece of kombu and it comes out really good. It is expensive for sure but it lasted me for 4-5 months.

A beautiful rice. Putting the $40 varieties to shame. Grains are uniformly oval polished and short. Cook with just a little salt to enjoy its mild sweet taste. Exceptionally good and consistent. A perfect rice when presentation and taste are important.
