The boots are so goregous...i always get lots of compliments on them, from women and men and...for 40$ they are decent quality...i would buy them again, they are ok material but they are just so cute and classy i think its worth itCons: calf in boot leg runs very small...i feel like i have average sized calves and didnt think it would be an issue...but first time trying them...they were very very tight in the leg..i wasnt sure if it was going to work or cut off my blood circulation in my legs...lol... i had to really pull on them to get them up, as well as making a decent effort to pull them off....but one pro of this is the boots do not slide down...they stay where they are at but have the slouchy casual look with the material that you wouldnt think its too tight...the material does stretch a little...so now when i put them on...it is snug but significantly looser and easier..so to summarize, it wasnt tight enough to be uncomfortable but if u have large calves...these may not work for u...but u can try to stretch out leg area using some heat from your blow dryer blowing into the boot and using gentle pressure to expand the leg area..but using them a few times will allow them to loosen in the calf area.Another con: the sole of the shoe is very thin...it should be thicker...because its so thin, it will eventually wear down sooner then later and either create a hole or crack before the boot has been truly worn out to it's full use...thats definitely a bummer but u can take to a shoesmith to add another layer to the sole....doubling the lifetime of the shoe...its cheaper then buying a 2nd pair if you do it this way...just make sure u dont wear them until after the shoesmith has added another layer to the sole.These are 3.5 to 4 inches based on eyeballing them, i didnt actually measure the heel height with a ruler...the arch isnt too high to where its uncomfortable to walk....but i tend to typically always wear atleast 3 inch to 4 inch heels...i think once you hit 4.5 inches l, the heel arch becomes uncomfortable for a long day/work day/all day use...so this heel height is just perfect for meI think overall for the price, its a good buy... its a very stylish fun boot and i plan on buying another pair in a different color because i like them so much

I'm so pleased with these boots, they are adorable! I've worn these boots probably 2 or 3 times now and each time I got SO many compliments.. I am just slightly under 5'10, so for a women I am TALL! I am extremely cautious when it comes to buying anything with a heel online, heels are usually too tall for me and trying to get a refund is not worth the hassle, shipping costs etc. I am also very picky when it comes to boots. so I decided to check out Amazon...I am so glad i did. I have faith back in online shoe shopping because of this purchase! These boots have the perfect heel height in my opinion (a rough guesstimate around 3 or 4 inches). One of my main concerns with buying thigh highs is the shaft height. Because if they're able to sit mid thigh on someone that's 5'1 with short legs, where will they sit on me? Luckily, the shaft sits perfectly mid thigh, I absolutely love that the top of the shaft can be folded down so they sit right under the knee, and they look soooo cute folded! I actually like the way they look folded down better because I tend to be more conservative and the thigh high is really cute with leggings but with certain outfits, the thigh high looks a little to risqué for my taste.When I ordered these boots I wanted them in the CarmelPU color and in the blackPU but I was hesitant to order both colors because they are so affordable I worried they may end up looking cheaply Made so I only ordered them in the Carmel color, I definitely plan on purchasing the blAck now too!!The only thing I would take into consideration before purchasing is, they are very snug, they fit true to size but there's not much wiggle room. Also in my experience super cute shoes that are extremely inexpensive usually are uncomfortable, and unsurprisingly these boots are no different. There is no give, the soles are hard and thin. I got some gel insoles for heels but now I'm wondering since they're snug if the insoles will make them too tight... ? I Have only worn them twice though So I may just have to break them in a little more.in all, the boots are great. The pictures don't do them justice, for around 30 or 40 bucks, this is a steal!!!!!Oh and I almost forgot, I cannot believe how quickly I received these boots, it was Thursday around 1 or 2 pm when I was ordering these boots, I was going through the (slightly pricey)shipping options At checkout when a little pop up asked me if I wanted to get FREE 2-DAY SHIPPING with a FREE Amazon prime trial. Sounded too good to be true but I thought what the heck. Clicked yes, then it asked if they could deliver on weekends, I clicked yes, AND I SH*T YOU NOT, I RECEIVED THE BOOTS SATURDAY AFTERNOON! I mean that alone deserves more than 5 stars. Not even 2 whole days later. That's a trip dude!

I had this exact same boot in a size 8 for several years but as indicated on the reviews, I still had to order a 1/2 size larger. I guess they just make them smaller now. Even with the 1/2 size larger, the calf is a bit tight. I did need to return the size 8 and they sent a size that was 2 sizes larger so I had to return those also but they were very prompt on the refund and shipping out the new boots.

I love these boots , they are very comfortable and the heel height is perfect. The only thing I don't like is the thigh part doesn't stay up and I don't like the pirate look do I'm going to have a shoe shop put an elastic strap and button in the back other than that they are awesome and true to size I wear a 7.5 and they fit perfectly

These were absolutely perfect and soo cute; however!!! Thick calf girly and these are NOT thick calf friendly. But highly recommend for anyone who is not thick-calved!!

I finally ordered these (last year I think) because I loved the look of the boots & was so excited to get them. I finally get to wore them this year for the first time on New Years Eve and they are not designed to stay above knee. It worked me alllll night at two separate events, constantly pulling them up only for they to fall right down again. So greatly disappointed because I didn’t order them for a ‘Puss n Boots look. I tried different ideas on how to keep them up, but mission failed…smh! If you want to look like Puss n Boots go for it, otherwise, I don’t recommend.

Wife likes them. Not sure how long they will last. Quality isn’t there.
