Eden 93413 Programmable Digital Water Timer 4-Zone, Compatible with Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor

The Eden company was swift in reaching out to me after my negative review of the digital water timer. The very same day they sent me a form to fill out with the info about the problem and then a real person got back to me the same day with a suggested fix. It worked and can go back to being a happy gardener.I purchased this for the 2022 gardening season and it worked like a charm. Didn't use it Oct-April 2023 and in setting it up for this year's garden, zone 4 is not working. Not very good value for the $75 it cost last year.

I purchased the 4 zone timer around 15 months ago and it is still working great. I agree with the comments that the setup takes a few minutes to get the hang of, but it’s really not THAT complicated, trust me. Read the instructions. You can completely customize each zone for how often and how long to water (up to four times a day). I have three zones going with sprinklers, then I keep the 4th zone open for misc manually watering, washing things etc. I have gone away for several weeks in the middle of the summer heat and came back to a garden that is still lush and green. No leaking issues whatsoever. I also bought the 2 zone for my 70 year old father and his is working great too.

Seems to be working as it should. Programming could be easier I think. It did leak where it connects to the inlet, but teflon tape fixed that issue.

I treated this thing with the utmost care. I used it last year with no issues. Packed it up for winter, stored it in its own container DRY and even took the batteries out.This year Im lucky if it works. It randomly is just completely off, screen doesnt work and water pressure is low. I have lines that don't water at all.I bought this last year to help me because I broke my back. This year Im 8 months pregnant and Im just super disappointed because I physically wont be able to replace it. I spent all the time struggling to set it up just to have it break in JULY.My plants will probably die this year :(I want so badly for it to work. Other than the fact that it doesnt work I do really like the system and how easy it was to navigate.

I have a 2 zone, and a few 4 zones. This is the same as the Melnor brand, and ace hardware has a copy in stores with their logo. This is unique because it has the ability to have 4 zones, and 4 cycles per zone per day. You can run 4 zones simultaneously or individually. The timer can be daily, or repeat every 1/2/3/4 etc days. I set my trees to run every 5 days and other zones on a different schedule. The only drawback is if you set it for skipping days you can't stagger the days, so zones that are set for 2 days from Sunday all would run Tuesday. I tried coming back the next day (Monday) and setting a zone for 2 days from Monday but it would match the original and run along with the other zones set to 2 days (Tuesday). I guess it's not that smart.The battery life is crazy good. 4 double AA batteries last all year of daily use. There is a battery level indicator on the screen. I try to keep the sun off with a piece of cardboard just so no overheating or fading occurs because I run this laying down on my mulch bed off a 3 foot leader hose.This is a leak free unit, solenoids are quiet. Manual operation can trigger multiple zones in 1 minute increments. You can cancel manual mode or let it time out, then it will return to auto or off depending where it started. Rain delay can be set from a a few hours, to days, maybe more?

This water timer was a little finicky to program, but I appreciate that it has lots of options, and with all those options it's just going to be a little complex. You can set it for any day, any length or time, any start time. I've got it starting in the middle of the night and the four outlets working in sequence every fifteen minutes. It has made a huge difference to my lawn (which I have to keep nice because HOA.) Batteries are lasting, it's got a nice big display so as I walk by I can check if it's still working, and it seems to be keeping time fine. I just used the rain delay last night for the first time, and that was super easy too. Takes a lot of the burden off trying to keep the lawn watered, which I was previously doing all by hand.

Arrived fast. Easy to set up and use. The fact that you have 4 zones and each zone can be setup up to 5 cycles is just amazing! It's been over 1 yr and the water timer has been under direct sunlight and the elements... it's just as new. Great product! Very well designed for the long haul.I had to contact customer service for an issue. I emailed them and got a reply the same day. Amicable service and very proactive. They know how to treat customers.Recommend this product and brand! Will buy more products from Eden.

While it takes a little to get used to the buttons and how to cycle through the setup, this has been a really solid performer for our vegetable and flower plots. We use this with our drip irrigation system and have been very pleased for two full seasons. Hoping it will stay this reliable for several more. Bought another one of these to set up another landscape. It's worth the money.

Es falcil de programar, lo tengo para las 4 zonas funcionado bien pero el flujo de agua bajo demasiado a diferencia del temporizador mecánico que tenía antes, tendré que dejar solo un áspersor por zona antes tenía dos y habían presión suficiente

This timer works as intended. Best is to fix it yourself and get the connectors needed without relying on the Gardners or non pros and you won't have any issue. Threads on the tap were not many, hence I bought a connector in-between and it worked properly.

Este producto no duró ni 3 meses de uso y no puedo ni reclamar el producto . Malo no lo recomiendo y mucho menos por ese costo

At the onset for those into these kinds of systems a few tries should get u all going. Remember other than the usual connectors and the fact that the 4 outlets on this product are plastic a bit of care during fixing the hose etc is needed. Don’t over tighten. But the most helpful info I guess would be1) as u are facing the product the zones start from left to right ( i .e the leftmost outlet is zone 1.2) use Teflon Tape on the outlet threads so u get a Gud seal that doesn’t leak and also don’t damage the threads( unfortunately they’re plastic)3) manual watering mode is required to be tuned in every time u decide to do any watering without the set schedule Other than this the build quality and other functions seems to be fineHave covered the whole setup with a plastic bag to try and protect it from the elements** currently using in the Middle East where temperatures are 47C in the summer**Will update this review in few months if the system holds up !!! For the hose ive set 6hours program timing intervals so it’s always on. No issues at allAlso I’ve read a few reviews about battery drain. I do have to mention I followed the advice on the manual and got a couple of alkaline batteries.(TOSHIBA). And intense heat later have to say batteries have hardly drainedJust for an idea program setting is two irrigation lines 3 times a day each at different times 7 days a week for pay two months.Only one minus seems to be the high pitched ‘whine’ noise it makes when watering programs are runningUpdating this review on oct31 2023Increasing rating one star from 3 to 4This is really an enduring water timer. It has been out in the open in extreme heat of 46C + while ensuring dust storms.
