Well designed blade
This is my 4th purchase from the same vendor. (and will be buying more). The blade is solid, built sturdy and just feels great to hold. I love the green grip also, and the medieval feeling design. I even went and bought the smaller version as a companion blade. I was asked before if the bird head bothers my hand? No it doesn't, when holding it like a normal blade in any direction it prevents my hand from sliding off it. This is a perfect blade for anyone wanting a rugged blade. Everything on the market now, is ultra polished that looks to 'pretty'. The fact that these 'look' rugged and rough is deceptive because its VERY sharp and does it's job and cuts well.

Odin's Raven Norse Viking-styled knife (10.3")
I was drawn to this knife because it's all hand forged by a small company in the Czech Republic called Toferner. I consider it a great addition to my knife collection, well made and what you would expect a hand forged knife to look like. If you're looking for an inexpensive hand forged blade then this is the one, even the leather sheath is very well made. It would also go great to any Ren-Fair impression.

Sharpened up really well
I like the looks and style of the blade and it holds a pretty good edge. The downside is the sheath as it feels a bit cheap and the belt loop is very thin.

Very good purchase
This is a really cool and stylish knife.Definitely the first one on my block with one of these :)I was reluctant to purchase it because of the ugly 1960s kitchen green leather, but I was looking for a blade with some heart. Actually within minutes, that ugly putrid green color grew on me like an amazon rain-forest vine.. It makes it look even more legit. The forged steel blade was like other reviews have claimed as "working sharp". You could cut and orange into orange-juice (LoL).. I spent about 10 minutes on my Spyderco sharpening sticks and turned this blade into a razor that I can shave with. I'm going to strop it later.I rubbed the side of the blade and hecka black gunk came off on my finger which I believe is normal for hand-forged steel. I took some Tuf-Glide on a rag and wiped it down.. It looks the same but not as much black gunk is coming off on my fingers now.The leather-wrapped handle section of the blade is big enough in size (girth and length) for my larger hands which was another thing I was unsure about before it came in the mail today.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. This is an easy knife to like (a lot).

Great and useful replica knife for the money!
I couldn't be happier with this knife. The edge needed a little touch up to be hair popping sharp, but it came with a usable edge. Even with my XL size hands, the knife fits perfectly!! Comfortable in most basic tasks and overall a good EDC knife, if you are into fixed blades. The only thing I plan on changing to make it more EDC friendly is getting a kydex sheath. The leather is nice, but not something that I want to use to carry it in.You cannot go wrong.

Only Odins chosen can wield this
Te mooment Aye layed me eyes upon it, Odin himsealf came te me in a vision. Told me te go te te wuuds, and find for me self a foe worthy of te wheapon. Aye journeyead faar and wied. Aye bloodied Odins blade wit liefe force of cowards. Till one Dey, aye came upon him. In te wuuds. The larrgeste bear ever to be seen. Aye crouched loww so as not to be seen, but alas, the beast smelled te filth and gore upon me skin an rags. Ee turned to look upon me and aye knew a true battle whorthy of Thor himsaelf was to take plaece. Aye sent me prayers te Asgard, an charged te beast. Te beast was ready, he chrouched low te pretect ‘is ‘art. Aye leaped abuve te beast in hopes to slash ‘is flank, but o was te beast quick in body as ee is in miend. Ee turned gashed me thiegh with is miegjty claws an eye cried in agonee. Twas panefull, aye, but a seasoned killer is eye. Eye took me blade into te soft meat of is paw before ee cuuld ssat is wiegjt upon it. As hie wieghjt set on is front from slashen me, ee roared with fury an contineud is attack. Ee was slowed from te pain but ee fought through like a warrior such as me self. Aye it went on it seemed hours though eye know them te be moments. Slashin, beighten, an kickan Fer lief. Te bluud an roars left me deaf te anyting but me thirst fer victry. Eye remember little beyond that till eye sa an openin. Is slashin wit te bluudied paw was slowin Im an I realized eye cought im te twilight of is daeys. Eye took me openin te open is ‘eart wit me blade. As he fell to is death eye saw te reliif in is eyes. Ee wished Fer death but be Tuu proud te take is own life. Eye fealt honord tuu be te one tuu take it. Eye took me blade from te beast an realized not all te bluud be is. In me fury a bluudlust eye didn’t feel me own through the torn from me. We joined eyes in our final moments, warrior to warrior. Monster te monster. An for te first time since takin te blade eye fealt peace. Eye heard Odin calling me te Valhalla, but eye know eye can’t be there without te beast who took me. Odin saw te mighjty beast an granted him a warriors place in death. To this daey te beast an eye need only see one another’s eyes te feel peace in death, look in te eyes a te one waht brought yee te peace. We be in Valhalla. An te blade be lost in te Amazon. Searching Fer odins choosin once more.

Strange reason but..
I wanted to give four stars only because I wanted to add my own handle scales and edc this knife but it is too well made! Whatever they did in the heat treat to harden the metal was absolutely effective. I spent 3 hours trying to drill the hole for just one pin. Great knife very well made! Recommend unless you are trying to put new scales on it.
