Great buy, affordable, durable, easy to attach.
This is a great cargo carrier. Initially my husband was a bit skeptical because he wasnโt sure how the quality will be for the price. We loaded most of our skiing gear for a 30 hour road trip from FL to WY. The space in the car was amazing and we kept asking each other what we have forgotten to pack since there was so much free space inside the car. Held on great, no issues during the trip, very durable and easy to install. Comes with a lock. It is entirely waterproof. Does not sit low when attached and the weight of cargo does not affect it. Great buy.

Good Product. Easy to use.
I just put over 2K miles on the car with this roof rack. Does is make some noise when empty and traveling at highway speeds. Yes. Any roof rack will do that including cross bars. Did id make any noise when fully oaded at highway speeds. Sometimes. Depending on if it was windy weather or the lay of the land the road was going through. For the most part it was pretty quiet. The bag for the rack was heavy duty and easy to use. I can see why it would be difficult to use in freezing or very cold weather. It is rubberized material. It would probably crack easily if it was yanked on too hard. The tie down straps on the corner of rack were easy to use as well. Iโve seen a lot of reviews where people say if you pull them to hard they rip off the bag. This type of strap is not designed to be yanked down to hard on. It is designed to tie off the corners. The orange ratchet straps are the ones you crank down tight to keep the bag from flipping off the rack. It comes with two but I use four, two in each direction. The flaps have Velcro all the way around to keep it tight against the bag. Remember the side of the bag without the zipper is what faces front, so you donโt get water blowing into the bag. The rack was sturdy and I did not have any issues. I was loaded with about 200 lbs. The only part of the rack that I question is the assembly design. I would have made the insert part of the tube in each section of the rack a little longer for better support. The rack was assembled with a small screw and rubber washer. I would have a longer tube and a bolt with the twist knob to assemble the rack. I did not have any problems, but I replaced/modified the screw with the bolt after my last trip. I can adjust my roof cross bars to fit the rack perfectly so the rack brackets work perfectly. I line the bracket up against the edge of the cross bar so it canโt slip and the roof rack did no budge at all during the trip.

Very good product but supplied hardware not the best
Took this on a roughly 900 mile trip, didn't have any problems at all. Didn't encounter any rain, so can't comment on how waterproof the bag is. The total package includes just about everything you'll need to pack and tote your items and mount the whole thing to a trailer hitch (2 inch receiver). The anti-rattle plate that's supplied did exactly what it was supposed to do: no noise/rattles at all as we drove along. Assembly was fairly straightforward. My main concern has to do with the hardware. The bolts and nuts "seemed" well made, but the lock washers seemed cheap: thin, flimsy, and it looked like they're made of a poor grade of metal, and I did NOT TRUST them to keep things securely fastened over a long, possibly bumpy, trip. I STRONGLY suggest that if you use the supplied hardware at a minimum you put thread-lock (e.g., blue Loc-Tite) on the threads. Better yet, replace the supplied nuts (they're all metric, so finding replacements may be tricky) AND the lock-washers with more robust ones. Even better, which is what I did, replace the lock washers and nuts with lock nuts (the ones with nylon inserts), and to make life easier replace everything used for the hitch part with SAE (i.e., not metric) hardware; SAE because it's easier to find the necessary items than finding metric ones. Related to hardware, the kit includes several wrenches to tighten the nuts. They're almost laughable: flat, short, simply stamped metal, and I doubt you can comfortably and effectively use them to tighten the nuts and feel that they'll be and stay secure, especially if you use the cheap lock nuts. Get the proper size box or open-ended wrenches, or sockets, to do the job right and feel confident that nothing is going to work it's way loose and possibly fall apart while on your journey. One other heads-up: The storage bag is made of relatively stiff material (which is good; I think it's the same stuff medical examiners use as body bags), but when the zippers are pulled all the way back (in the "open" position) it's very hard to straighten the corners of the bag to get the zippers on their way to closing. My advice: once you get the zippers away from the full-open position don't pull them completely back to the corners when you're done: leave them 1-2" from the corners. You'll still have plenty of room to insert stuff into he bag and you'll also save yourself the hassle of trying to move the zippers out of the corners to close the bag again.. Overall, a good buy, with some caveats.

Great deal with all the included accessories and functionality.
Very easy to assemble. Priced right and all the extras made it almost a steal. Iโm a happy camper with this deal. Mine came with a couple small scratches but touched them up with paint and no problem. Well made, easy to load (better with 2 people). Good to have a tube of silicone sealer for joints and screws to prevent moisture and rust formation which is what they recommend.

Sturdy, Easy to Assemble, Minor QC
First off, let's all agree that this is a heck of a bundle for ~$210 + tax. You get a steel roof basket, cargo net, ratchet straps, and finally a travel bag. As of writing this review, I have assembled the roof cage and have done a dry-run of fitting my gear in it, but I have yet to mount it to my vehicle/travel. I will update my review if I find that to be problematic for any reason. Some of the rooftop cargo carriers I was looking at were $500+, so in terms of pricing this can't be beat. Assembly was very straightforward. Though the included guide is not the most descriptive in the world, the picture graph basically speaks for itself. I needed to use my palm screwdriver to secure the screws as they did require some force, so it's a good idea to have a tool that will allow you to exert some pressure. There are no tools included with this kit. The included cargo net appears to be high quality, whereas the ratchet straps appear to be a bit on the cheaper end, but still functional. The weatherproof bag is made of a heavy material akin to what bounce-houses are made of, and certainly seems durable enough for what it needs to hold. I would not trust that the bag would do well with any sharp edges or corners though, so do use caution when packing & zipping everything shut. My only gripes, as minor as they are, are acceptable given the price range. I noticed light markings on the steel in numerous spots that appeared to indicate the cage I purchased was either used before, poorly packaged, or handled somewhat rough at the factory. None of these broke through the paint, so I'm not too concerned about it. If you order one of these, expect to bust out a can of flex seal (or similar) to seal up the areas around the screw holes per manufacturer recommendation. An insert the company had provided seemed to allude to the fact that people were complaining about rust, which is something I have no interest in dealing with, so I do intend to follow their directions to avoid that. Overall I'm very happy with what I have so far, and I look forward to seeing how this holds up on the road! Update: I've installed it on the vehicle, and like many others have stated the U-Bolts are far too large to fit the caps on. I've seen plenty of crossbars and I really cannot see why they justify sending such large U bolts - I don't know of any roof rack that would require the length they provide. Again, given the price I can't complain too much, but this issue is more annoying than the others.

Fit & function as advertized.
Very nice and certainly as advertized. Be sure to line up the screw holes as this will make that part of installation much easier. I did not use the included rubber sleeves for rust protection which is fine if you do. I opted instead for liquid electrical tape which also provides waterproofing and is easy to apply. Just a suggestion. I like the fit and function very much and it does look nice on a new Checy Tracker.

Durable and great for the price.
Exceeded my expectations! I was on a 1000 mile journey cross-country and needed more room than my Jeep offered. I did not want to drag a trailer behind me. I researched my options and found this product. there were others that were similar at a higher price. However, I really liked what this cargo carrier offered with the water proof heavy duty bag and many straps and 500 lbs capacity. I had never used a product like this before but after seeing a youtube video of a guy using one attached to a Honda Odyssey, I figured that I'd give it a try. I put four totes back there and my bike! Just in case, I placed items that were of lesser needs in case something happened. I can tell you that I was super impressed. the Carrier, the straps, the performance was exceptional! It did not falter, and now I can use it on family trips! It is very compact to store because of the folding feature and it was a great purchase that I will continue using. Photos show before and after the trip.

Rack basket is good, exceptional customer service
The basket was easy enough to assemble and seems very sturdy. The bag is a bit difficult to attach and in cold weather the zipper froze. I had an issue where in high and cold lake eerie winds, the bag ripped open and shredded. I contact the seller and they replied right away and shipped me out a new bag and a pad to put under it in the basket. I am hoping the new bag holds up. The customer service was exceptional and the replacement bag arrived within a week of submitting the complaint.

Mediocre quality for the price.
Clamps bend and do not support my roof rails very well. Paint scraps off easily. Nut knobs protrude above the rack.
