The feathers spiral beautifully and extension helps keep distance from scratchy paws.The previous wand toys I used had elastic cord that would break away or weaken with minimal chewing. This connecting cable has outlasted the feathers and the whole toy. I would have loved to purchase more feather sets rather than having to buy the whole toy (or another one replacement in this pack itself)Its a wonderful toy to keep cats stimulated and active. My cat absolutely loves this toy and gets super excited when i take it out to play !Note: once the first one was chewed away completely handle and feather.. I got another one. Totally worth it !

1. The item doesn't extend as easily, 2. The wand broke when I tried extending it, 3. No nylon string, the feather is right at the tip of the wand, 4. Terrible material.

My indoor only fur baby is addicted to this. This is the only toy cats don’t get bored of. He even always go in front of the cupboard where the toy is placed and asks to play with it. It is very sturdy and strong too. It has withstood almost a month of daily kicking and biting. Older cats probably won’t be interested in this. Cats who are very playful and active who is under is 2-3 years of age would love this.

Excellent product. My cat loves it. It's worth buying.Only negative points is the product is not of the same quality was shown in the picture. The one I have received seems very flimsy. So may not last long.
