I'm not sure, but it has helped out my hands when I cook with it. The unheated oil that spills on my hands is like a natural moisturizer, but I'm not sure about the hair and scalp. Ask your hairdresser/ barber. They'd be of better help.

Buyer be aware!

Buyer be aware, not real olive oil, mine had vegetable oil, olive oil has a unique smell to it this one had none of that, will never buy from this vendor again.

This oil has a very light flavor, not extra virgin and way too expensive. I'd give it fewer stars but I didn't read what I was buying... my bad.
