Love it. Got it for my baby chickens to get use to outside and it housed 12 nicely. Easy to move. Took 5 mins to put together. Works in rain or shine so far. And goes away easily in a nice bag to store it while not in use.

I got this to be a makeshift chicken hospital for some rescue chickens. They have to be quarantined for about a month before they can go with my chickens and it will be during some of the cold months so it will be in my basement. I had a small cheap Amazon coop I had gotten originally for this purpose, but it was too damn hard to clean because it was heavy and you couldn’t get to the entire bottom level very easily. So after looking around I thought I’d try this. It is very light, but sturdy enough. I put an adult size hybrid bike behind and in front of it to show the size. It’s quite roomy and the zippers will make it easy to access the inside and I could easily lift the whole thing up to clean out the bedding if I needed to. I’m a little nervous about repeatedly going in through the zippered part because the zipper seems weak as if it could easily break if pulled just the wrong way or too hard. The top tie downs are not sewn on properly, but I was able to feed it through the mesh close to the seam so I was able to secure it to the frame. Considering the cost and what I needed it for, I think it’s pretty good overall.2023 Update: I’ve had this for a year now. It served its original purpose well. I used it to raise some freshly hatched chicks also. I’ve used it to introduce younger birds to the outdoors and to keep a blind rooster safe while he grazes, which is its current use while it’s still warm. It’s held up well, including the zippers. Still happy with the purchase.

I’m hoping to use it for allowing young chickens outside before we get the fully enclosed run built. All the parts were there and it wasn’t difficult to assemble. It was also easy to disassemble and put away in the nice storage bag provided. Kind of like a portable mesh “tent”.It should meet my needs. And I can use it in the future to cover and protect my garden.

I have been hatching chicks for decades and always struggled with cagesThis is the perfect size for day! I would not leave out overnight; however, cant ask for more once chicks are about 10 days old and weather is ideal
