Certainly! Here’s a positive post for the Angelbird AV PRO CFexpress B SE memory card
I’ve been using the Angelbird AV PRO CFexpress B SE (512 GB) memory card, and it’s been an exceptional addition to my gear. The fast speeds are impressive, allowing me to record up to 8K RAW effortlessly. The performance at this price point is truly mind-boggling. The build quality is robust, which gives me confidence that it can withstand the heat generated by the camera and endure occasional drops. This card has served me well, making it a reliable choice for both video and photo content production. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a high-capacity, durable, and fast memory card!

Understanding Sustained Write Speeds Is Important
This card suffers from the same problem that many other brands succumb to, the need to advertise "peak" read speeds on the card to help sell cards. The real story here is in sustained write speeds. When it's all said and done, this is the most important statistic in any memory card. It tells you what the card is capable of doing in your camera. In the case of this Angelbird AV PRO SE, that's "Sustained write speed of 800 MB/s". Meaning this card is capable of 8K RAW and 4K120p. I've tested this against my other cards (ProGrade Cobalt) and have seen no difference in photography RAW image buffer on the Canon R3 or video recording in any format on the R3/R5. It did, however, cost considerably LESS than my ProGrade Digital cards. Where this cards actually falls short is with an unusually slow startup time when installed in your camera. The R5 and R3 both take a little more time to actually turn on versus startup times with the ProGrade cards. There are firmware updates avilable for the cards that annoyingly must be performed with Angelbird's own reader. I picked one of these up and upgraded the firmware on one of mine - this made no difference in startup times in either camera. One of my cards says it can't be upgraded because it's not compatible with the firmware update - they're exactly the same card. So I don't know what's going on there...but it didn't make a difference with the R5 so I won't bother with it. I think the firmware updates are very stupid because no other CFExpress card on the market (to my knowledge) require this or even offer it. So why does Angelbird need it?

Great Card
On watching reviews I thought I'd try an Angelbird Cfexpress B card & it's very good. I am using it in a Z8 and it has never gotten hot in the camera or reader and it is blazing fast; never given me a read or write problem. Plus, they are far cheaper than other brands. Hurray Angelbird!

Sustained write speed
The most important aspect of a CF Express Type B card is the sustained write speed. This card is more than enough for my Nikon Z9 for all tasks with a sustained write speed of 800 MB/S. I’m happy with my purchase. With it’s price tag, this card is unbeatable.

Not formatted. So it did not work initially. But after formatting in my camera, it began to work.

I will buy another.
I was apprehensive about buying this card as it was new to me and I have only bought Sandisk and Lexar CF cards. After 6 months of use, I have had no problems with my Panasonic GH6 shooting 4k 60. For the price it's a steal. Additional info that may or may not help. I leave it running with a dummy battery and have it record usually 3-4 hours of video. Never stopped recording.

Be warned, Angelbird, as a company, has non-existent customer support.
Angelbird's products may be good, and their marketing may be slick, but don't ever expect to get so much as a response from them, whatsoever, on support issues. Myself and others have attempted to contact them at their support channels many times, and nobody I know of has ever gotten a response. Maybe large studios who buy top-end in major bulk lots have a different experience, but for your average independent cinematographer or photographer, forget it. Their "3 year warranty" (if you end up with it. Most of the time even if you register the item the day you receive it, directly from Angelbird, not a third party seller; their site will say it was purchased months ago, with only 8-9 months remaining on the warranty.) isn't worth the screen it's printed on because they **simply will not respond** to you. Again, their products seem pretty decent technology-wise but as for their marketing talk about "we won't abandon you" and "we serve individuals and respond to individuals" -- is absolutely nothing but marketing window dressing to make them appear like a customer-focused company, when they are not. I doubt the testimonies on their site are even real. Go ahead and buy their cards and devices; they do seem to be built well, just be fully aware that if you EVER have a problem with them, you will simply have to toss it and buy new. If you're OK with that equation, then go ahead. But Angelbird, as a company, does not perform customer service or even interact with customers.

Fantastic Value
If you need a ton of storage for ~800MB/s, this is it. Rock solid, sustained write performance of 800MB/s for $180 when most other companies are charging that much for half the storage. Obviously if you are filming 8k 60fps raw, you might need to look at their higher performance cards. Note: Firmware updates can only be done with Angelbird's reader, but at least they do bug fixes, improve performance and compatibility.

I use 2 in my Z9 for a few years and have not had any issues

Plug and play for the R5, no updates to firmware needed. Hi-speed shooting available with sufficient buffer for CRAW and RAW. Would recommend for budget to performance ratio.

The card arrived in good time considering it had to come from the US. It is very fast for photo bursts. Can’t comment on video performance as I’m not used it for that.
