Fantastic product
Great product! Easy to install and I will never again deal with duct tape and tension clamps. Highly recommend.

Not easy to install - required out of the box approach
This is a good product, but don't be fooled by the instructional video showing how easy it is to install. If everything about your dryer, its vent, and your home's exhaust vent is absolutely perfect and pristine then installing this will take 5 minutes as seen in the instructional video. For me it took a lot longer and some out of the box thinking. The vent coming out of my dryer measured 3 3/4" and the 90 degree elbow just fell right off the dryer vent with the seal installed. I had to take a pair of pliers and go around the circumference of my dryer vent, bending it outward to increase the circumference to 4 inches. When I inserted the hose into the connector and pushed it onto the 90 and then did the same on the straight piece, the hose would pull out of the connector after the click. It seemed that pushing the connector onto the straight piece and the 90 would push the hose loose enough from the fingers that it would slip out. To overcome this, I used some small pieces of metal flex tape and taped the hose to the connector between each of the fingers and this held the hose firmly in place when I snapped the connector to the straight piece and the 90 and the hose stayed connected. I also taped the straight connector to the vent pipe and the 90 to the dryer vent by wrapping some metal flex tape around the circumference of each connection. The seal rings seem to provide a tight fit for the 90 and straight piece, but you're relying on friction to hold it together. With the other obstacles I had to overcome, I felt that taping the connections would ensure everything stayed connected. This is a good product, far superior to using clamps. I really like that the 90 helps keep the dryer far enough from the wall that you do not crush the hose. For me it wasn't easy to install. I had to think out of the box and I'm glad I did. I did get it installed and it's working great. You may need to think on your feet to get everything together if your vents are not 100% perfect and pristine or you encounter something preventing everything from connecting and holding.

Not perfect, but 100% better than traditional connections
It's not quite as easy as the video makes it out to be. The clear bands are difficult to fit over the dryer and external vent pipes. It took me using a screwdriver to leverage the band onto each, then carefully scoot the band further back. Cutting the flex hose is also a bit of a trick, even with wire cutters, but use a blade to tear into the foil first and it makes it easier. The flex hose material itself is prety good. Putting the flex hose onto the plastic connectors is fairly easy, but does take some effort to get that solid "click in place" confirmation. Making the final connections by fitting the flex hose onto the dryer and vent is quick and painless, even if it does not feel 100% solid, it seems to stay in place. Overall, this product is still WAAAY better than the crappy connectors that I have used in the past. Even with the slight misgivings, I would buy it again and I do recommend it to others.

Don't do it!
If you live in a cold climate or experience cold winters - beware the Cinch doesn't want to stay snug into the wall or to the back of the dryer. We had temperatures dip into single digits at Christmas 2022 and I found this thing was not holding it's Velcro grip. Especially when you can feel heat coming from the back of the dryer and extreme cold air from the wall to the outside. The idea is great but sadly it's not safe.My Device is in the trash after 5 weeks. I can't believe it took me this long. This is really dangerous. In the cold temperature, even with Velcro, this slipped and was letting a draft into the house from the wall and the heat from the dryer. The cinch elbow on the back of the dryer was so warped my husband had to pry it off...most of it melted. I kept feeling cold air when the dryer wasn't running....cold gap around the fitting to the outside of the house. I'd feel high heat when the dryer was on because the cinch will not stay "cinched". Even tried to use pop rivets to keep this silicone/rubber fitting onto the dryer and the wall to make it stay in place...still dangerous. This would not work either. The colder it got the fitting was just hanging on. But hey I was going to try and make this work. I finally went with the locking fitting and using the old school metal band you tighten up with a screwdriver and tighten to the back of the dryer. For a fraction of the cost and peace of mind. No heat or cold will make the metal band shrink or loosen it's grip. SAFE! No gaps or heat or warping elbow fitting. My old school dryer vent is now snug onto the back of the dryer and into the wall. I gladly eat this $40 thing ....$40 is better than a burned down home.

Great idea but doesn't work as advertised
Can't say how many times I have had difficulty using metal clamps on the dryer vent. So I thought this was a great idea to eliminate the clamps. And it is, but there is a catch.Neither of the Snap to Vent connectors provided a good connection. I tried turning the rubber ring both ways (one end has a lip) but no matter, the connectors kept popping off. I thought this may happen with the house vent pipe but not the brand new LG Dryer vent!.After spending an hour trying to make a firm connection, I decided to use a heat duct tape to keep the connectors in place. This worked but the product is not as simple as advertised.

Works
I was having floors refinished and had to move the dryer multiple times to access the outlet. The original hose would not stay on and was very difficult to reattach. After much research this was the best option. It is easy to attach and stays in place. I did have to make some modification to attach to the hose leading to the exterior - but that was easily remedied.

Installed easily and stay attached twice for monthly maintenance
Installed easy and after a month I pulled out the dryer and cleaned behind and under and it still stay attached and quickly cleaned and pushed the dryer back in with no problems and I’m not worried about damaging the hose or 90 degree turn.
