My son started hating tummy time and was refusing to lift his head when he was making really great progress before. I got this and he's been doing better with each use. Sometimes he likes to look at the creatures moving around the mat, other times he doesn't really care. This is a lot softer than the play mat I have for him, which definitely makes tummy time more comfortable and less unbearable. I think tummy time on firmer surfaces made him feel really uncomfortable, so this mat has been great. Mine hasn't gone mouldy yet, even when water has been left inside for a few days. I've had it just over a week so far and only emptied and deflated it once. I've been using a few drops of tea tree oil inside it instead of vinegar, and that seems to be keeping the mould at bay (so far). The only real downsides are that the edges bend inwards like some have mentioned, so I sometimes have to reposition my son a bit so he's more comfortable and not slumping to one side and the creatures inside have a habit of clumping together and floating around in a mass so probably won't be all that entertaining when he's older. They take a lot of poking around to separate and drift back together anyway.

I bought this for my baby great granddaughter. She loves the eye catching colours. It has come in handy with our heatwave, her mum said baby is happiest lying on the mat as it's cool with the water in. No leaks so far.

Value for money

Its recommended to fill up with 1/3 of water but as per photo it bends. Also I was expecting more exiting items inside but there is only like 5 fush shapes and thats it.Next time I will take more time on researching.

I have bought this product on three different occasions. One from this seller and twice from another one. I bought them as gifts so cannot confirm their durability. I however think the concept is good for the development of babies and helps mummy attend to other chores while the baby is focused on the mat and its contents. Hopefully the beneficiaries of the gift think as I have.
