CamelBak Magnetic Tube Trap, Secure Magnetic Drink Tube Holder for Hydration Packs, Grey

I've bought a few of these now for myself and for friends to be used with a variety of bladder manufacturers. I use mine with an insulated Hydrapak bladder hose and it works great. The slide-in magnetic combination is more secure than the Osprey keepers I've used in the past. It takes some adjustments and practice to get the release right while running, but it isn't terribly difficult. The only challenge I've had is finding a good spot for the pack side to attach securely. Not all packs have a piece of fabric wide or durable enough to keep it in place securely, and both pieces come with the hose.

If you have a CamelPak, this is the only magnetic clip you should buy. I bought a cheap one and had to return it because it wouldn’t fit the hose.

I like my older CamelBak but the tube always presented an issue. I don't know if it's because of my smaller upper body proportion but the mouthpiece knocked against my arm as I walked and I found myself pushing it up out of the way, but then the tube would hit the back of my neck. This clip keeps the tube where I want it and because it rotates it's at the perfect angle. I was worried there wouldn't be a place to fix it on to the strap, but luckily there's a piece of fabric on the strap that's the perfect width for the clip to wrap around. Wish I'd thought of getting this years ago!

Works like the original that came with my bag. I just wish they weren't so easy to lose, or at least be able to but just the hose end for a bit less money.

Nice accessory for your drinking tubes.

The magnetic clip was easy to install on the cross chest strap, and just what I needed to keep the tube handy, and from contacting my legs, pedaling & tucked. It fits well, and is easy to use, then the magnet pulls it right back to its home, until needed again - keeping the tube & bite valve stowed perfectly. This reduces the hand activity even more while riding, which is good. You want your right hand on the levers to shift. I think this clip should be part of the Camelbak pkg, it’s needed, and that good. ML

So happy with this purchase-it fits my insulated water hose--I had a hard time finding a magnetic one that would fit the large hose size. The magnet works great! Be sure to measure the strap you are going to hook it to on your pack--my strap is a little too narrow and it tends to slide off but I am going to secure it so it can't slide off!

Finally a hydration hose holder that does not fail in critical time. I was frustrated with traditional magnet holders from Osprey and others that seem to fail in the worst time. The one from CamelBack holds the hydration securely, easy to attach and remove when needed. I am replacing all mine with this new Tube Trap.

It's the most solid magnetic attachment I've used so far.
