That 'Miracle noodle' or 'Konjak noodle' stuff just doesnt cut it. Awful taste and texture. This stuff however. Not bad. I boiled it in chicken stock to get some extra flavor into it. It smells rather bad at that phase but after plating and adding sauce the odor is gone. Of course. Nothing will ever taste exactly like the real deal, but these are actually acceptable. The texture is pretty much spot on, could fool me, taste is pretty neutral, lets the sauce be in the foreground.
