These dies are made to do the Swedish Wrap Method. The inside angle is 7 degrees. Also, with 4 different sized dies made up of steel for maximum durability. Die 1 is approximately 1.4" at the top and 1.15" at the bottom. Die 2 is 1.3" at the top and 1.05" at the bottom. Die 3 is 1.2" at the top and .95" at the bottom. I was able to sand it down and could use it only after the Morgan dollar was domed with a block first. **Q: Will these work for morgan silver dollar coins?** A: They do but you will want to get a good set of dies. I bought these for the push rods. **Q: Are these what are used to create a hole in the coin?** A: They are not. Those are called Swedish wrap. You use the push rods( The solid pieces) to push the coin through the ( ones with the hole) to shape it. There are several steps to do before you get to these. You will need to get a hydraulic press to do most of these steps. I use a 6 ton from H.F. You will need a hole punch to put the hole in the coin first. Then you need to get a dapping block to dome the coin so you can put it through the Swedish wrap. I suggest if you are going to make coin rings I would first read up on everything you will need to do it and I also found Youtube to be very helpful too. I hope this helps you some.
