The media could not be loaded. I was surprised with this tie wire reel when I received the box. This has an amazing quality and a unique system to open and close the lid, one handed, extremely easy. I love the colors and the design. This is definitely worth the money 👌🏼

I've tried the metal reel that screws on and also a similar push and lock reel. The screw on one always undid itself since I pull wire from the left and the other locking one's cover eventually wouldn't fit back on the right way. This reel works perfectly for what I need it for while also making it easy to swap out wire. We'll worth the purchase.

Wire used: Coated shark wireThe quick exchange of wire works well but the two issues this reel has is wire catching the sides when you’re trying to tie and the reel not catching when you want to reel your wire in (see video). All in all it’s a decent reel. It’s smooth once you tie a few ties.

Great tool, I am a union carpenter that builds scaffolding, we use tie wire to attach the 1x6 pine boards to the metal “pans” this tool allows me to do a number of thingsone is it allows me to easily take the tire wire rollsand pull them out to an even length with speed.Two it allows me to not have to duct tape the wire so it seems to stay covered in oil and doesn’t rust. First roll I ever had that didn’t rust after a month or more of use/storage.Three I do t really have to worry about finding the wire ends or being poked/ cut by the wire.Great product ever scaffolder should have one.Made in USA

The product is pretty good, But you have to make sure it locks correctly. I've had it pop open a few times on me already. But i'm still Is happy with the purchase. I just have to pay more attention when locking it.If it didn't pop open on me three times on the first day, I would have given this a five star.
