It was the perfect blend of good and bad, live and graphics with a satisfying climax accompanying it. The story just kept me engaged till the very end. Loved it

Loved it
I really loved this one. Though it had the undertones of violence towards females, it did not detract from the overall story. Definitely want more of the carnage Island.

shifter and omegaverse!? yes please!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I absolutely loved everything about this stand-alone, first of all the authors note intro had me adding the Andorra Sector straight to my TBR, I haven’t read Lexi Foss before but after how much I loved this book I will be searching her backlist for more and starting there! This was the first omegaverse with shifters I’ve heard of being done before and when I tell you I was here for all of it. I went in to the book completely blind, not even reading the blurb, so found myself pleasantly surprised. I loved Clove and her guys, the overall plot and story line was great too. I feel like this world has so much potential for spin offs for the other intriguing side characters, I’m hoping they get written, mainly for more omegaverse from this author because she has a true talent in that department for sure! The spice has to get a mention, the scene with Caius and Clove just wow, if you know you know.I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

Epic unique shifter RH book
This book brings soooo much to the table, RH, Amazing mates, mystery, learning, challenges and heart. The alphas in this story are beyond amazing, they bring a whole new level to alpha...their devotion, care and protectiveness is second to none. However, they are all individuals, they all have their parts to play nd they know who is best for each role.Add Clove the female wolf who didn't know of her heritage until the day of her shift and her journey of learning who she is, what a wolf really is and how she fits in a new world...her strength, her determination to learn and her own power is fabulous, she really inspired and makes you wish for more...The story lets you learn everything about this world through feelings, thoughts and events rather than telling you or talking around the subject. The plotline is unique and addictive, I struggled to put this book down and when I had to longed to go back...the book made me feel all sorts of emotions and it was truly a page turner...albeit it was lighter then I was expecting with the blurb, title and cover, don't get me wrong there was darkness in the book but not as much as I expected ... however, all please note this did not take away from the book at all...in fact it added to it... I really hope for more of these amazing wolves or even more wolves from the island.

DNF
I got to about 54% and had to leave it. Too much dialogue, not enough clear description or setting building for me and quite honestly, not one of the characters interested me (that’s a terrible thing to write but it’s true). It started well but it’s got a slightly meandering tone with the same thing repeated way too much. The different male characters don’t feel different and you don’t get to know them well. The spice isn’t spicy because there isn’t a connection and all I was left feeling was like I’d love to hop into the pages, slap them up side the head and demand to know why they’re all so horribly patronising. They’d mansplain it really well

Let The Carnage Commence
Lexi has done it again! I devoured it in a few hours not wanting to stop reading for anything. Clove is rejected by her betrothed when they find out she’s a Carnage Wolf who have been given a bad reputation by another pack Alpha’s lies. When she arrives on Reject Island she’s in Wolf form unable to shift back so she’s taken under the Alpha clans care but after 2 days she has to be forced to shift. I love how strong Clove is even when everyone but her Alpha’s are against her she doesn’t let it really get her down. The way Tieran , Volt and Caius protect her from the start is endearing and you can’t help but like them.

Four stars
Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .
