I think a pretty much all of these humidifiers brag specifications that only really apply if your use case scenario exactly matches their test environment and their use conditions during the test. Usually these test scenarios are unrelated to most real world use cases. This humidifier does the same thing. Nevertheless it is of good quality manufacture, reasonably quiet, it's attractive, simple and easy to operate, would not be excessively bright in a dark room and is moderately easy to move about. It has a handle on one side which is completely inadequate for holding it so you have to drag it along the floor instead of lifting it because of the way it is designed, The buttons on the top are capacative like a phone touchscreen but they don't have the sensitivity or responsiveness of a phone touchscreen so it can take a few attempts to get the buttons to respond. It's not a major problem, but it's something to be aware of. You need to operate it slowly and deliberately till it responds. In terms of how this functions, it works well to extract moisture, which is the main point of it. It uses the stated amount of current (I ran it via an energy monitoring smart plug). The water tank is reasonably easy to remove and replace though it isn't the biggest tank. All in all, this is a product made to fit a specification at a pre-determined price. It does the job well enough, and quietly enough at its price point, without using excessive amounts of electrical current. It's not going to give you an RGB lightshow, there will be no wave patterns of light on the ceiling, and no ambient binaural beat sounds to help you sleep. It's a dehumidifier not a new age jukebox. :) I am happy to recommend it at this price and would buy it again, especially when compared to competing products.

I have been meaning to leave a review of this dehumidifier for a long time. I live in an old damp house, the walls and windows are wet in the cold season. With the advent of the child, I decided that I needed to buy a dehumidifier. I thought for a long time, chose and eventually bought this one. It was at the end of December 2024. Before that, I bought one, it was smaller than this one, with multi-colored backlighting, beautiful, I wanted one like this from the beginning, I thought it would be interesting, but after the very first night I decided to return it back, it collected a maximum of 50 ml of water per night. I don’t know if it was a defect or not, but I returned it. So, since the purchase of the homecom dehumidifier, I have not regretted it for a day, from the very first day to this day, even in the summer, it is turned on in continuous mode every night and every morning I pour out an almost full tank of water (and this is 1.5-1.8 liters), even on dry days it is almost full, I don’t know where it got the water from, but that’s a fact. This is an incredible result for a dehumidifier of this type and size, I am certainly pleased and advise you to buy this unit without hesitation, you will not regret it. It is in a small room of our house, it is shady and the dampest, no one sleeps there at night. About the noise. In continuous mode, it works quite noisily, it is probably impossible to sleep in the same room with it, as for the night mode, I have never used it. But I will say that I checked the noise level once in night mode and yes, it works quite quietly, but I can not say anything about the efficiency in this mode. Of the minuses for me personally, I can note that the control buttons are not backlit, this is not very convenient for me, but otherwise I am very happy with everything. It is beautiful, fits into any interior, moderately heavy, which means that it is not empty inside but powerful equipment, I like it, on wheels it is easy to move it around the house. Parcel arrived on time and was well packaged. I have been using this dehumidifier for about three months in one of the bedrooms. Since installing it, the room feels warmer and the humidity is much better controlled. All the controls work well. Automatic mode pauses once the target humidity is reached. Night mode is genuinely quiet. It is in the kids’ bedroom and they sleep comfortably with no disturbance. The unit runs 24/7 without any issues. It is easy to move on wooden and lino floors. The tank sensor works properly and the machine stops when the tank is full. No problems so far. Reliable, quiet, and effective. Definitely a keeper.

Very happy with the operation and water collection provided by this dehumidifier. I just wish there was a way of seeing the amount of water collected without having to pull the container out! Also no matter how careful I am I always end up spilling some water when emptying it when full. Finally I have my doubts about the "Touch Sensitive" buttons, I've already had a few issues changing the fan speed, but since I plan to leave it running on automatic at low speed I don't foresee a problem in the short term?
