It was a tough decision. I purchased this one because it looked stylish and functional. When product arrived, I found the case to be well made and very unique. I use it to store my laptop and love the water resistant material. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Better Options Available *by K***R on November 13, 2017* I wanted to like this sleeve more than I ended up. It's a decent sleeve, but...The first issue is that it's PU leather, not genuine leather. PU leather has an odor to it that smells of....chemicals, for lack of a better word for it. "PU" leather is appropriate nomenclature, because that's what you're probably going to say when you take it out of the package for the first time. Being PU leather also causes the sleeve to have a funny texture to it. It feels almost...slippery. The final issue with PU leather is that it's not very durable. I see this sleeve getting gouged and scratched pretty soon, and not as a result of abuse or neglect, but simply as a result of daily use (were I to actually use this sleeve on a daily basis, which I've chosen not to).Another issue I have with this sleeve is the chrome name plate on the lower right corner of the front of it. It's engraved with, "SRSDIGICH," and I cannot count the number of people that have asked, "How in the world do you pronounce that??" While I'm all about promoting your product through the use of tags, labels, etc., it definitely did not need to be so prominent on this sleeve. People expect the nice engraved plate to have YOUR name or initials on it, not the manufacturer, and definitely not a name you can't even pronounce.The sleeve does have a nice "velvet" lining that will keep your laptop or tablet protected from scratches, but as you can see in one of my photos, that "velvet" gets permanent impressions left on it fairly easily. I also liked the cross-hatch pattern of the front of the case, but the drawback to this is that it's a perfect place to trap dirt, debris and whatever else, making it VERY difficult to keep clean.I definitely would not purchase this again, nor do I use it on a daily basis. I actually ended up giving this to my partner for his MacBook Air, which rarely gets transported anywhere, meaning he will probably never actually use this sleeve, either.
