Kokedama: A step-by-step guide Paperback – January 13, 2017

Excellent tidy little book on plant culture, Japanese style. Easy to follow instructions with helpful photographs. Not easy to do but definitely a rewarding adventure.

The author gives easy step by step instructions. And a thorough understanding and background of what a kokedama is. I recommend this book to any beginner or hobbyists.

Beautiful pics. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the pics were amazing. As far as learning how to kokedama - it would get 1 star. It tells you that you need mud and moss and that's the extent of the Info you get on how to actually do them. So very pretty for pics and ideas, but thumbs down on the whole read.

I bought this "book" after reading several articles about Kokedama. I assumed I would learn from this "step by step guide" as the title implies. But there is next to no information here. It is more a mixture of nonrelated facts that could be found on the internet. I am not sure it was proofed since there are so many misspelled words. I read it in about 10 minutes. I really feel this is a con especially after I read more about the "author"

When I bought this book,I was looking for a simpler introduction to kokedama, just to get aquainted with the concept. This book gives a brief introduction to the subject and a basic guide to making kokedama. It is a good good introduction to the subject. For a person who is "just curious" it an excellent book. It gives the basics with no excess verbiage.

It’s literally 20 pages & the size of a small pamphlet. Maybe if it was $2-3 that’d be fine but for $9??!! Heck no. Plus the information in it is the most basic uninformative common sense stuff. Doesn’t tell you how to make your own kokedama soil or what’s usually in it, doesn’t tell you how to do ANYTHING besides the most basic step 1 plant the plant step 2 cover in moss step 3 the end stuff! Really disappointed.

Enjoyed the through rundown of kokedama in an understandable and applicable way. Would recommend to a beginner. It addresses the basics of the hobby.
