What a deal !!!
I grew up with Polish version of this book, so when I realised that you can actually purchase it in English, I bough a copy for each of my kids. The translation is great (although, Polish version flows better), but the illustrations and bounding are spectacular. The books came quickly and were packaged well so no damage occurred to them in transit.

It’s a beautiful book and the translation works.
It is a wonderful book and I am glad it’s now available in English so I can share the book I loved as a child in Poland with my grandchildren.I bought several copies to give as gifts.I am sorry so few books of Tuwim, and none of Brzechwa, are available in English

Still timely.
Great book still timely even though written in the '40s. Will make great kids xmas present.

Lovely to look at, a pleasure to read.
This is a lovely book and the illustrations are just what I'd hoped for. I expected the three poems to be combined into one story, but that was pretty much my own misreading of the description, I think.
