Before this I would burn cheap incense from my local home good store or dollar tree. My family would complain about the strong burnt smell they would give off. After a little research I purchase the nippon kodo Kayuragi Incense Sticks after reading a couple of recommendations. At first I was disappointed because of the mild scent. It not overpowering like the cheap chemical of the cheap incense I was use to smelling. After my nose adjust I noticed the smell was amazing and would soon fill the room with a light but very expensive smell. A aroma like an expensive perfume would be the best way to explain it. None of the chemical or burnt smell. My wife instantly notice the difference and told me how much she loved it.
