Was really excited for this monitor. The connectivity was great as well as the picture. I did not realize however that this has no sound alert only motion alerts. I’m not sure about everyone else but I don’t mind if my kids are playing in their room/crib as long as they are not crying until it’s time to get up. Even the movement alert was not great. Even at the highest sensitivity it wouldnt pick up my kids moving unless they were jumping up and down. I also have a 2mo so she is swaddled and doesn’t move much. Being there is no sound alert I would never be alerted to her waking. Another problem that I had is that you cannot view more than 2 cameras as one time and it does not have a patrol function.I love our old vtech monitor but it doesn’t have the WiFi connection which I am really looking for. I wish they would take that monitor and all of the specs it has and just update it to WiFi enabled. Am now looking at a Samsung WiFi monitor that has aVOX setting.

It’s cute looking and has ok sound and video quality, but it takes way too long to boot up (like 5 mins), there’s a lag time of a few seconds (which is fine), and the battery in the monitor doesn’t even last an hour. I miss the monitor we had from 2011 (that was accidentally dropped in the toilet). For this price, I was expecting much more.

Day vision good and clear. Night vision grainy and terrible. The monitor screen would die within 15 minutes so I mostly had to use my phone to watch baby. Totally defeated the purpose to why I buy this camera system. However I did love the pan in tilt features! Also the motion detector was also a wonderful feature. The monitor makes a loud ding noise when motion was detected.

Not a bad product, just dont like the fact that you can only connect 1 device to the camera and not multiple. Would be nice if myself and my wife can see video on our phones if we are i. Different lications but you can its either 1 or the other.

Boy have monitors came a long way! I’ve been using monitors for 7 years between my 3 sons. This one has the most advanced features.Pros are that I can also view the image on my mobile device so long as it’s on the same WiFi network. This is great because it effectively lets you add more monitors for free. Other pros are easy use of monitor - it’s called a tablet and works much like one. Connect it to WiFi first, then add camera by pushing a pairing button. Then you can tilt it to the angle you want and save the position. This comes in handy if you have a few positions to preset - like the bed and the play area (toddlers). Moving the camera is very natural - just swipe the monitor screen. There are functions to talk, adjust the night vision, adjust the HD, and take picture/video. I have not used this last feature and no sure how useful it is, but I have no need for it.The only con that I can think of is all of the lights on the camera - a series of red lights surrounding lens and then 2 blinking orange and blue lights on base. My 2 year old gets slightly scared of cameras in general (especially when it moves or we talk through it) and the lights make it a little worse. But this is a minor issue and outweighed by all of the pros.

The camera does not stay connected with any consistency. It shows my toddler in his own bed when he's already been in my room for 5 minutes and by the time I get him down and make it back to my room I can watch myself on the monitor outing him down. It delays all the time and provides 0 piece of mind when concerned about the location and safety of your child while in another room.I've tried resets, we literally purchased a new wireless network to makes sure it wasn't our other equipment. Still garbage. The good news is that it does show the last time it was connected. So right now I know the image in the monitor has been frozen since 10:15... it's 10:24 now.

There are so many things that I love about this baby monitor - where do I list them all?First, the large screen is GREAT. I love being able to see my little one on such a big screen. Also super helpful when you hook up more than one camera or when you are trying to monitor a large room instead of zooming close.Another thing I LOVE about this camera is that you can monitor with both the handheld monitor and online with the app. That is extremely helpful to have both options because the app isn't always the quickest - especially when you are home. But when I go to work and daddy is home watching the babies - it's nice to see the kids on the screen, either playing in their room or sleeping.Most of the other things are very comparable to other monitors - tilt, zoom, distance away from the camera, music. Those are very similar features to every other camera I have looked at - so I don't want to go into a lot of detail there. What makes this one distinct is what I mentioned above.
