I got this rod holder to hold and organize my cat toys. They have several of various sizes that they like to play with at different times depending on mood. Before this, I was piling, untangling, or they were taking up so much floor space when separated out to prevent tangling! Now, they are neatly organized! They clamps are very sturdy with a good amount of pressure. I am confident they could easily hold a heavy duty fishing rod without issue. They hold my thick and thin toy rods, and I can insert lines/cords as well. No flopping or tangles! It was super easy to install, less than half an hour for me. I have low level handiness. If you can hang a picture, you can install this. Highly recommend! I am so happy I bought it! Highly functional!

This is a must-have if you own multiple fishing poles. It mounts securely to the wall with a few drilled screws and feels solid once installed. Placing the fishing rods into the slots is easy—lower the rod into the slot, raise it to the height you want (being mindful of the ceiling), then slightly pull it down and it locks into place. It makes more sense once you see it in action, but once locked in, the rods stay put. The rack holds up to eight fishing poles, and they remain secure without slipping. I chose the black and blue version, which matches my son’s fishing-themed setup nicely. The rack is lightweight but sturdy and doesn’t add unnecessary bulk to the wall. The only real downside is that you’ll need to offset the poles slightly because the reels can touch each other. Alternating the height of each rod solves that issue easily. This was very easy to install. It came with the plastic anchors for Sheetrock, however the 4 end screws are 16” so it fit perfect to mount to the studs. The rubber pads are soft to not damage the rod, and the tension is good so they won’t fall off. I was worried at first that it wouldn’t hold tight enough and my rods (especially trolling rods) would fall off but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they hold. I am very happy with these holders, the price is very good and they seem to be of good quality. They don’t take much room so it frees up a lot of space in the garage. Only problem is I didn’t order enough. I would highly recommend this to everyone who is looking for a clean safe way to store your fishing rods.

I wanted create a prep station...where I could tie on lures & leaders without awkwardly bending or leaning the rod against something. I screwed these onto one edge trim of a table and it holds my rods up perfectly. It holds everything from a very thin 24" dock rod to an ultralight to a medium heavy rod with no issues whatsoever. All of them also have reels on them, so I can fit about 6 rods very comfortably on one unit with slightly altering the height of the rods, which is easy with the tension mechanism. I could probably fit more if I needed to, but this is sufficient for the rods I use the most. Now the rods stay in the holder and I can just pull the line onto the table top and add leader and lures as needed. There is hardware included, which would be fine for wall mounting, but I replaced those with some thin nuts & bolts as I ended up using a rolling 24" square stainless steel table that I had from a project that had about a 2.5" metal trim going around the perimeter of the table top. The actual "height" of a unit is about 2", but the screw holes are at the top of the unit, so you can use just about any table though that has about a 1"-1.5" lip and accomplish the same thing. The whole things looks great and best of all it is extremely functional. If you are looking for a vertical solution, this one is really hard to beat and the tension mechanism makes accessing rods so much easier than putting them through holes or into slots!

The vertical method is far better than horizontal. This is a good product, as simple as it gets and it works. It easily holds each rod in it's own spot and since its vertical you can set them at different levels allowing you to store many poles side by side with out all the tangles and that comes with the horizontal nightmare. Bravo and Blue is great

This is a good buy for the money. My wife had been complaining about my fishing poles being a jumbled mess. Now it is nice and tidy. One of my better purchases.

This rod holder works like a charm and holds all my spinning and casting rods easily and neatly as advertised with or without my protective rod socks on. I will be purchasing another soon.
