Works well just don’t leave it connected while not in use during freezing temperatures. The plastic will break. (Common sense I know but that can easily be overlooked during freezing temps.)

Used it to check water volume going into black tank as a flush. Very pleased with function.

The media could not be loaded.  Constantly leaks! I’ve tried installing it at the hose bib and at the nozzle end of the hose. I’ve had my husband try to mess with it thinking I wasn’t getting it tight enough. No matter what we did it was spraying water at the connection. And yes we made sure the rubber o-ring/gasket piece was in there. Will be returning!

I was hoping to use this to monitor water usage in my garden, but my drip tape system apparently does not draw enough water to reliably spin the impeller. Also, If you leave it unattended the screen goes blank, you have to press a button to wake it back up. On mine, this seems to invariably reset the top number. Also, the total use number only goes up to 999 gallons, so if you are using it to monitor usage over multiple days it will roll over.Bottom line: this seems like it is most useful for single-time usage - like how much water did you just put into a tank or onto the lawn. It will not do a good job of tracking usage over time, especially if the flow rate is low.
