Is it a good size for a 9 year old

At 9 they should be using a size 4. That said, my 9 year old uses a size 5 fine. If you dont want to upgrade later the 5 would work. Otherwise I'd get a size 4.

Is there a way to quickly and easily deflate the ball. It will take a lot of baggage space for me.

theres this special needle for ball im not sure where to get them but all u do is insert the needle and the ball will start deflating

solid but not perfect

One panel on ome of the barca logos was stitched incorrectly, causing the logo design to be off. Doesn't hurt the way it kicks, just the way it looks.
