It would be fair for the company to advise how these enzymes are being derived. Mushrooms are hailed as a food but they are not. I had to throw out my purchases of this product. **Q: why add a probiotic to this group of enzymes?** A: This particular spore producing bacillus is good at digesting. Look up the name, 'subtilis'. B. subtilis and add 'digestion' or 'nutrients' or maybe 'what does it do best?' Why was it chosen? It has been used for many decades in various ways and lots of tests on humans have determined it is safe. Glad it is there because it saves money. I take probiotics and want to have a small amount of spore based bacteria in the mix. Spore based probiotics do not have to be replenished daily. The amount is small. Three enzyme capsules a day it wouldn't total more than 3 billion cfu. Reading so far looks like the company is out there somewhere in the stratosphere and does not monitor this product or maybe any of theirs on amazon so people who moved to speak up are answering questions.
