I used this to clean and de-static the Optix plexiglass I used to replace a display cabinet door. Worked fantastic. Very clear, no residue, no scratches, and no static. Great product.

Bought it as a replacement for a plexi cleaner I had around. It seems to do he job just fine. However, I wish it is anti-static.

Update: I love this stuff! After the initial success with the two lamps I mentioned below, I’ve been trying this product on a number of plastics around the house. The touchscreen on my HP laptop now has a fingerprint-resistant gloss shine. The keyboard and case also responded well. The plastic buttons, clear plastic display, and even the anodized metal faceplate of my 30 year old Sony receiver look like they just came from the factory. So far, everything Novus 1 has touched has resulted in an instant improvement. Great stuff! —Original Review— I bought Novus #1 to clean the clear acrylic shell of a reproduction Panton VP Globe which had acquired a streaky, swirly film on the inside over the years in storage. Looks like it might have been improperly cleaned before. Swirls not really visible while the light was off, but quite distracting once turned on. Product applied easily, and quickly returned the acrylic to crystal clear and also left the shell feeling extra smooth. Once I got that harder project out of the way, I also used Novus #1 on the Lucite fins of a vintage chrome desk lamp with great results. There again, it restored a fresh shine to them and left them as smooth as the acrylic Globe. I’d also like to add that Novus’ customer service is excellent. Prior to my attempt at cleaning such an awkward piece as that Globe, I emailed them from the link on their website inquiring their suggestion on which of their products would be best to remove the interior swirls from the acrylic, since with the light on, they’d be very visible with it radiating out through it. Instead of upselling, and suggesting using 1 & 2 from the full 1,2,3 product (which is what I was considering to polish the interior), they recommended just getting a single bottle of 1 first and use it a few times. It appears they were correct in their suggestion. Recommended product! :D

Novus is the go-to for plastic cleaner and polish, and used to make decent spray bottles. Now they are crap -- sorry, I don't know how else to say it. The sprayer leaks everywhere, when spraying or not, it makes a total mess of everything. It makes what should be a simple and straightforward task into a lesson in frustration management. It drops all over the floor, counter, or whatever when you spray, meaning not only do you get to clean your plastic, you now have to clean the floor, counter, etc. No longer impressed with Novus strictly due to their total lack of performance and quality in product packaging.
