As a caretaker of 3 cats, I’ve found that cats are hit & miss when it comes to catnip. I’ve had cats who went from being totally into this stuff to the ones who bolt away saying “Say no to drugs!”. This catnip is different – my cats love it! Not a lot of extraneous stuff (sticks, dirt, etc.), and fragrant. My current batch of knuckleheads love catnip, but they are also spoiled. They couldn’t care less about the catnip you find in mass marketing stores or in the pet aisle at the local pharmacy. But this stuff is different. I have to sneak opening the container I put it in, because cats will fly out of whatever hidey-hole they’re in when they hear that container opening! Note that this product comes in a plastic bag, which is just fine, but please learn from my fail. I suggest that you quickly put all this catnip in an airtight container when you get it. My first purchase of this catnip had me foolishly thinking I could put it on the shelf (still unopened) with no problem. This resulted in an overnight catnip-explosion within 24 hours of it in my house, as my brain-addled cats shredded the bag and nearly had to be put into detox to recover. Oh, and it takes FOREVER to get nearly a pound of catnip out of your carpet. Furthermore, the cats are STILL rolling in that spot. Seriously. Get a separate airtight container. You will thank me later. Back to my second attempt at purchasing this item - with a container. This not only is a great treat for cats, but it also creates a wonderful Catnip Tea to refresh toys (take 1 cup of hot water and 1 tbs of catnip. Mix and let sit until cool. Strain & put in a spray bottle. Spritz on worn out plushie toys or in the air and let your cat think you’re the perfume girl at Macy’s. Don’t get crazy with it, because it will stain fabrics, but old toys are fair game in our house.) . I don’t know what these guys do to make their catnip this addictive, but my cats prefer this to any other one. Price point is great too!

I got this nip for a Trap/Neuter-Spay/Release I was working on. This nip brought them from over 50 feet away! Took ferals to touchable! It smells so good..like mint, to me. I have to keep it in a cloth bag, hung on a high hook. They have gotten the zipper open on the bag, open the cabinet where it was, and buggers can open the cat drawer. Major supply rearrange on the horizon!

This stuff must be the really good stuff bc I came home to all the local cats rubbing their bodies all over the package lol. Once I gave them some they immediately went nuts, quite hilarious. I’m very happy with this purchase and so is my cat and all the neighborhood cats too. I will definitely buy again. Oh I also like that it’s fine and clean. 👌

I bought catnip at walmart, our cats didn't care about it at all. They go crazy for this catnip though. They even go crazy for the bag when its empty. Great stuff!!

Good Cat Nip for price. Not the most potent, but better than most you usually find in this price range.

As soon as my cat smelled the bag he knew it was good stuff and he was right he chilled for 30+ minutes on a big pinch definitely worth the price for a large amount with out the stem chunks

If you want to know how good of catnip this is just look at the photo attached... This was delivered about an hour before i got home from work so my boyfriend set it on the bed for me for when i got home not knowing what it was. The scent of catnip was so strong my cats tore thru the amazon packaging, the protection packaging around the bag and there was even 2 (luckily they didnt fully tear into it) bite holes in the actual catnip bag. When i did get home and take it out I noticed even i could smell it, it smells nice almost like mint but definitely a strong scent. When i gave my 2 cats some they both loved it, it also affected them both differently my younger 5 year old Tortishell was super calm & ended up taking a nap next to the catnip bowl while my 7 year old Tabby got super playful and was running all around the house. 10/10 recomend! Amazing price for such amazing product

My cats are picky with catnips, some like certain ones and some prefer others. This catnip works well to keep them all entertained! I even have enough to sprinkle into the outside cats heated house and they get a kick out of it!
