Review: Hold tightly in plaster. - I am a professional window covering installer. While these Alligator anchors work well for drywall, I prefer the Toggler SnapSkru anchors. I use the Alligator anchors for plaster walls, and they are easy to use and effective for heavy loads. They are also very effective for concrete, but there are much lower cost alternatives such as tubular anchors or "tapcon" screws. Toggler Alligator are my go-to for plaster walls.

I learned this as i have to repair and fit so many things. Provided you use a correctly sized drill bit you can drill anything not just as a cavity fixing. When you screw the screw in the fixing will expand into the hole making a secure fit. Useful when screws into plastic fail drill the hole push in the plug and fit the screw.
