Smaller than I expected but I like it
Haven’t had to use yet but I fully charged it so it’s ready to go if needed. I did try the flash light and the reading light and both very bright!!! Even though it’s smaller than I expected I’m glad it’s not big and bulky so I stores in my emergency tote no problem

Solid device but some flaws
I’m only giving 4 stars due to the solar panel being basically useless. I gave it two days of charging in full sun, in a temperature controlled environment and it didn’t charge the battery past 75%. That is with the battery being at 75% beforehand.I also used a UV flashlight on the panel and noticed that only the center of the panel would light up the battery charging light. Maybe the panel I got was defective? They do mention it’s meant to be a supplementary power source but even still it’s a bit misleading in my opinion. The panel is pretty much useless in an emergency situation if it’s going to take over a week to charge.Aside from that it’s not a bad radio, it does have a manual charging handle which is more than likely what you’d end up using if you didn’t have power. The lack of waterproofing is a bit disappointing but it’s also not surprising given the price tag on this.I would say it’s worth it for the money, despite some downsides.

Seems to work fine
It came charged, so I decided to listen to the radio to wear the batteries down. Not! So then I turned the lights on, too. Not! It took a few hours to finally get the battery to wear out just a little. So I haven’t tried charging by solar panel yet, I’ll update later if it works or doesn’t. But so far this lasts quite a long time.Radio is decent. I’m in between cities so sometimes it’s hard to tune into stations. This pulled in on many stations that I normally can’t get at my house. So the antenna is good. Radio is a little hard on the ears with the volume up, but I wasn’t expecting Bose. Exactly what you would expect from a little transistor radio. It will be a great resource when the power goes out.

Great!
Every hurricane season I remember and immediately forget to buy one of these. Finally did and it surpassed my expectations so much that I bought another one for my mom who lives in a hurricane zone and another one for my dad who experiences frequent blizzards in the winter.Everything is very simple and clear on the device. It’s easy to use which is a bonus for my elderly folks. The speakers are radio speakers. If you grew up before the 90s, you’ll be fine. Flashlight is SUPER bright. It came fully charged but the crank is very easy to use, as are the plug-in options. Nice concise instruction manual. Most places you could pay $50-$60 for this at like lowes or those outdoor stores, so I appreciate being able to purchase something so useful for a fair price.Hope I never have to use it!
