Q: I am hearing impaired and wear hearing aids during the day. Would these be loud enough for me when not wearing my aids at night?

I can only speak for my husbands experience......he too wears hearing aids. He said he can hear fine at night without his hearing aids listening with his cozy phones as he drifts off to sleep. Just make sure that the speaker is directly over you ear. We love our cozy phones .

Q: My head circumference is 21 1/2. Should I buy adult's or children's? I seem to fall into a gap between them.

I purchased these for my son and his head is about that size- Large. Due to comfort you don't want them to tight. If you get them a little loose you can always a adjust them smaller. But if they are too small you're out of luck. These have been perfect. He wears them every night and we have had them for about a month.
