All was good and as expected until a few months later where it started making loud cackling sounds that made me think it was gonna explode any second! The noise didn't stop (obviously there was something wrong inside) so I just chucked it out. Cord is still ok though.Updated - Over half a year later than the purchase, I contacted the company and received a full refund. Therefore, I've now given them 4 stars because of good customer service.

The charger worked fine
The charger does what it said on the box but had the wrong socket for inspiron. Too large so I had to get an adapter to fit the laptop. The specification quoted the compatible 15-5500 Dell number.

This product failed after very little use. It was operational 30 Times. I am very disappointed
The product was used correctly with the compatible Dell laptop however, the unit was no longer charging after about 30 uses since it was not required , and neither was the laptop during shielding at another venue .

Good product
This seems like a sturdy product. My husband is very fond of his old lap top. We seem to need a new lead every year because the battery wont stay charged so he leaves it permanently plugged in. We get through a few cables! I will see how long it lasts. So far so good!
