Protects hands from prickers and thorns (vs other gloves that claim they do)
After trying a number of gloves that falsely claim they work for prickers and thorns, these gloves actually worked 99% of the time (or 100% if you’re careful).

First year with a fire place and found myself needing gloves. These worked great and I loved that they kept my hands clean and they were easy to store/put on/take off and very comforyable

Not just for welding
Heavy duty gloves for handling hot items or equipment. Great around barbeque and smoking - dealing with hot coals and tools. Recommended.

Good, but not ideal
Hard to move fingers, and very limited dexterity. These also seem to be identical to those sold as “bite proof” gloves so I am not sure if they’re optimized to heat or puncture resistance. There is just a ton of fabric and they seem more bite proof.
