I purchased this to line up my laser engraving materials. It is the perfect length for my 400mm x 400mm engraving space. Especially when I am using a jig.

This T-square is perfect. Solid black, with embossed white numbers. Metric on one side, imperial on the other. One piece of steel not two pieces joined at the T. This will be a great addition to my woodworking marking tools.

Great concept but all on one plane does'nt allow you to use the TSquare concept cause theres nothing to guide it SQUARE. As an artist I have had a T Square in my hand for over 54 years. Its a T , but not a T SQUARE. I figured out to add material under the arm to be able to use it. Bad mistake as I threw my regular T squares away. Ugh!

This may be "Carbon Steel" but it's exceptionally LOW carbon steel aka "Soft Steel." ~ I picked it up with a short 3 foot long 2x4 laying across it and the T-Square actually bent. Now it has a permanent wave in it. ~ One drop from workbench height and the thing would likely fold in half. Ok, maybe not quite that bad, but it would never be square again. It bends as if it's very thin and delicate aluminum or lead. It is ferrous however - magnets do stick to it. ~ The scales are readable and seem accurate - just need to handle it with great care - which is not something one usually does with a "CARBON STEEL" tool like this.

For carbon steel, it is almost too soft and pliable for use as a ruler.
