where is this reel made

The reel is made in China using Penn engineering specs, they are the same quality as the USA reels.

Hello, what is the weight of this reel. I want to buy this for my wife and my kids (10 12 year old). Just want to make sure it is not heavy.

it is on the heavy size. especially for inshore and/or if you are casting and using plastics. if you are just bottom fishing it wouldn't be too bad. i would HIGHLY recommend to you to get the PENN CONFLICT 2500 or 3000 instead. if you go to bass pro shop. com they should have the exact weights of these reels.but buy them on amazon or walmart to get the lower price

Does the reel come fully assembled?

With the exception of screwing the handle into place, the reel comes fully assembled, thank goodness!

How much lind can you put in this real?

580 yards of 80 lb braid , don't use mono so I don't know, I fish for big fish with this reel.
