The slip works perfectly with my mermaid gown. I bought my wedding dress from a bridal shop and I refused to pay over 50$ for a slip. This slip is functional for me, cost effective for my budget, and I received my order in two wks. The material was fine, but the crinoline was definitely short. I am 5'6" and the hoop hit about mid-calf. However I was still able to wear it since the hoop was adjustable so I made it smaller and the length didn't matter as much.Overall like I said the only issue was that the slip was too short for me.
