This thing is essential for starting seeds. I did not find this to be able to dispense seeds individually the way that I had hoped. Tapping on the side was more effective than using the click wheel. I had the feeling that sanding down the height of the ridges that slow the seed dispersal may be worth trying as a modification.

I got this for my father, and he really loved it. I don't know how well it works, but he did play with it a bit on Christmas, and it held together and did what he expected.

This seeder is an excellent advance to trying to pick up small vegetable and flower seeds by hand.

Low quality China product which Amazon has a lot of these days. I returned it but got whacked with a restocking fee of over half the cost of the product. I learned a lesson about buying low quality items on Amazon.
