First of all, the value is great. I haven't found many reputable shops that sell this quality of saffron at such a reasonable price for 3 grams. I received the item very quickly is fantastic packaging. It sounds kind of cheesy but I'd consider giving these out as a gift thanks for how well they are displayed. As far as quality goes, they are excellent. They do not taste or smell stale. They give off great color and are very aromatic. This is where I'll be getting my saffron from.

I was searching for a good quality saffron in the US across various online sites and found this particular one on Amazon. I usually go by looking at the reviews in all such products since these are consumables. Looking at the reviews for this product, I was really amazed to see that it had 5 stars. We as Indians use a lot of saffron especially during pregnancy as it is a proven medicine for the foetus.So, I ordered this immediately and was waiting for it. Thanks to Amazon's quick delivery, I got the product on the 3rd day (excluding a Sunday). I asked my wife to open the package and as soon as she did, she was surprised to see the gift box. It is so amazing especially the box which has a magnetic lock. She was taken away by the magnetic lock as she was not expecting such small thing to have such a good gift box package.Next, she opened the box and saw the bottle and the original colored saffron inside it. She immediately jumped on her feet (exaggerated) and she was so happy that she got this as a gift.She has been using this for almost 3 weeks now with milk and she says, this is original as she knows a lot of saffron from different manufacturers in India and she knows how the saffron should release the color when soaked in milk.So far we are happy with this product. Thanks to Zaran for producing such a good product.

I bought this brand of saffron in 2017 and I held off writing a review, but now I feel like it deserves its reputation hence the review. When I received the package and opened the box I was disappointed. I didn’t like the cheap velvet box it came in. I also didn’t like the thin and cheap glass vial the saffron was in so I transferred all the saffron into a heavy-duty square glass bottle that had previously held saffron. Anyway, so when I opened the cheap glass vial I was underwhelmed by the scent. I was thinking there isn’t a scent. I was unhappy and I didn’t understand why this product had such great reviews. Months later I ground all the saffron using my mortar and pestle and then the saffron fragrance just bloomed. Now I’m very pleased with the product, but it did take me many months to get to this happy place.

This saffron is outstanding. Product is fresh, fragrant, delicious. It is carefully packaged, but I would suggest to the seller that they come up with a "greener" way to package the contents for shipping. The little box, though elegant, and the foam inside of the box (which is not recyclable) are not necessary and, unless the buyer plans to give this as a gift, is unnecessary for safe arrival, and many buyers will likely throw them away.

This not only smelled incredible, it gave food the very best saffron taste I've ever experienced. I've only used it in savory dishes (Indian food) but I can't wait to try it in a sweet dessert.Every stand was red. The packaging was really well done.

Expensive but worth it.
