ACCESSORY - FREECOM-X/SPIRIT 2ND HELMET (JBL) KIT

Bought this kit for the second helmet, it installed easily. The setup was easy and the Freecom-X is a great system with high quality sound.

This is a second set for my Cardo Freecom 4X, The 45mm speakers aren't much louder than the standard JBL 40mm's, but the sound is noticeably richer and fuller. Buy when on sale. Just make sure your speaker pockets are large enough for the 45mm speakers to fit. Two of my four helmets allow fitment.

Fast delivery and easy install

These are needed when you have 6 helmets like I do. I really didn’t want to buy a whole separate cardo system for every helmet I got and this is exactly what I needed. The people that know - know. these are very easy to put in but a pain to get the wires right where you want it which making the extra helmet kit works so you don’t have to reroute the same helmet multiple times. The sound is great as well and cardo always has good quality. 10/10 for modularity

This is a great way to install a comm unit in a second or additional helmet without having to purchase the sending unit, as well (you can transfer the sending unit from helmet to helmet, as this kit contains the mounting bracket). The JBL speakers provide a much 'fuller' sound than the standard speakers and, at 40mm, fit most speaker pockets in helmets (as opposed to 45mm speakers).

This a great addition for the 2nd helmet. Like the speakers and it's an upgrade from the standard speakers on the less expensive kit. Losing a star for the double-sided tape they choose to use to mount to the side of the helmet. For this and the other helmets I have this same setup, I've had to remove the tape and replace it with a higher quality tape to get it to stick.

Ich habe bereits einen Helm mit dem Cardo Spirit System, allerdings ohne JBL-Lautsprecher. Für meinen Zweithelm habe ich mich für das Kit mit JBL-Lautsprechern entschieden. Das System ließ sich sehr gut verbauen. Das scannen des QR-Codes mit der Cardo APP und Freischaltung der Klangprofile funktioniert problemlos, ebenso das Cardo Modul mit dem JBL-Kit. Die erste Hörprobe: Eine wesentliche Verbesserung der Klanqualität gegenüber dem Kit mit Non-JBL-Lautsprechern und nicht vergleichbar! Von daher klare Empfehlung! Aus der Erfahrung mit dem ersten Kit, dass das Klebepad des Grundträgers recht dünn ist und auf Dauer nicht zuverlässig auf dem Helm hält, habe gleich ein doppelseitiges 3M-Klebepad auf die Form des Grundträgers entsprechend zugeschnitten und zusätzlich verwendet. Der Grundträger hält jetzt bombenfest, wie am ersten Helm auch! Fazit: Verarbeitung, Montage, Funktionalität und Klangqualität super. Lediglich das Klebepad am Grundträger ist verbesserungswürdig und man(n oder Frau) muss hier zusätzlich und zwingend mit 3M-Klebepads nachbessern, um eine zuverlässige Fixierung am Helm zu gewährleisten.
