LOVE THIS RULER, BECAUSE IT BENDS ALL THE WAY TO THE BINDING PART/THE CURVE OF THE PAGE!
UPDATE FIRST: CHANGING MY REVIEW TO 5 STARS: WHY: I didn't think that this ruler would become my go-to ruler. But because I underline a lot in books, I didn't realize/ I forgot that with my old, stiffer ruler, that I was always missing the word closest to the center of the book, because the ruler wouldn't bend that far, to help me underline the last (or first) word on the line. Well, this ruler bends so well, it follows the curve of the page perfectly, and I can underline the whole thing just great! So I'm changing my review to 5 stars from 4! Old review: Okay, so these rulers have a W-10 on them (See the top 2 in the photo.) My old ones (Bottom Westcott) have a B-50. Not sure what the official difference is between them beside that the B-50 costs twice as much, but I will tell you that I believe that the W-10 only uses plastic that is half as thick as the B-50. The B-50 is nice and firm, it bends a little, but basically feels like a normal ruler, and would not, for instance, wrap itself around a cup. These, however, are much thinner, and would certainly wrap around a small cup. Another reviewer said that they would make good bookmarks, and I agree, they are that thin, whereas the B-50 would be a little too heavy for a bookmark, and would probably fall out. I haven't tried underlining with it yet, but I suspect that I will choose my B-50 when I am using a good, thick pen, and when I am using my "01" thin tips, the W-10 will probably work in that case. So not super happy that it's not as thick as the B-50, but I'll give it a try anyway.

I use this for zentangles, perfect size Highly recommend
This is a great size for zentangle squares! I have one in 12”, but it gets in it’s own way. The small one is just right!I love the clear ruler, with all the markings easily visible. I can easily align the ruler exactly over the drawn lines. So very helpful. My foot-long one (same brand) is very old, and in great condition. I expect this short ruler to be just as long lasting.Plus, it’s perfect for a small travel project bag.

Very useful little ruler.
I bought this to use in my bullet journal. It works great. Only issue I have had is since it is a flexible ruler and is thinner than most rulers if I'm not careful my pen will slip under the ruler if I'm not making sure to hold down the ruler. This could just be user error and pressing the pen too hard against it. It is very light and thin enough to use as a book mark in my bullet journal making it very portable and convenient. It is clear and the grid style of the ruler makes it easy to make sure it is lined up and straight. However I probably would not pay more than I have for it (which was less than a dollar) because after all it is just a small piece of thin plastic. Depending on how it is taken care of could easily be damaged so I would not store loose in a back back or in a way that will allow it to bend so it may not be suitable for younger kids for school depending on how they store it and take care of their things.

Thin but useable
Little thiner then I expected but they work for me since I commonly lose this ruler. It is easy to accidentally cut the plastic with a rotary cutter.

Wonderful measurers
These are great, no need to do math, just count the little squares. I LOVE having so many different sizes. I store them in the clear bag.

My Favorite Dependable & Accurate Ruler For Years!
I've been using this type of 12-inch grid ruler for a while now, and it’s truly the best one I’ve ever owned. The grid design is fantastic—it makes measurements so much easier and more precise. The markings are clear and easy to read, even after frequent use. What I love most is the balance between sturdiness and flexibility. It’s durable enough to handle regular use without bending out of shape, yet it has just enough flexibility to adapt to different surfaces. This ruler has been my go-to for everything from crafting to everyday tasks, and it’s held up beautifully. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-designed ruler, I can’t recommend this one enough!

Flexible and Legible
This little ruler is exactly as advertised. It's thinner than I expected, making it more flexible than expected. But the writing is precise and the plastic is crystal clear. This works perfectly for my Bullet Journal and small craft projects. Nothing overly fancy or expensive. Just a great little ruler.

Very thin
The rulers are ok. They are very thin. My pencil point kept sliding under the ruler. I have the same exact ruler made by The C-Thru Ruler Company that I think is better. However, I bought that one years ago.
