Wonderfully Good!! Very Engaging - Clean Romance - Awesome!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It might be my favorite in this series!I'm so glad I tried this author. Her writing style flows so smoothly and keeps me engaged overall. This book had excellent characters and a superb storyline.Sebastian and Rosalind were made for each other. They had a rocky encounter as young teenagers, which gave both of them misconceptions about the other. Now as adults in an arranged marriage, they struggle to find out who the other really is.It was just SO good!Tender, clean romance with a few kisses. No bad language at all.Two dramatic, cliffhanger situations made my heart race a bit... and kept me wondering how it was all going to wrap up!I highly recommend this book, as well as the whole series.Very well done!!💜 💜

I loved Rosalind and Sebastian
Oh. My. Goodness!!! I love this book! I've enjoyed all the Georgian Gentleman books but this is my favorite!!! I loved Rosalind and Sebastian's story. Their families arranged their marriage while they were children and while Rosalind and Sebastian have known about it for years, each was hoping that their families would cancel the contract. This did not happen, and thus the marriage will take place shortly after Rosalind's 21st birthday, which is in a few months. The problem, besides the fact that neither party really wants to go through with it, is that Sebastian hasn't had any contact with Rosalind until now! He still thinks of her as an 11 year old chatterbox asking a million questions and she thinks of him as a ill-mannered 14 year old who wouldn't let her in his tree house. Will these two be able to see that the other has grown in the decade that's passed which will enable them to make a go of it?I loved so many things in this book. I loved Rosalind and Sebastian's first meeting--both of them. The one where they didn't know who each other was and the one that followed shortly thereafter--I could just imagine their faces when they saw each other!! I loved that Rosalind loved numbers and knew that would end up helping Sebastian. I absolutely loved Rosalind's list--oh my heavens! As her list of "Good Things" grew and she scratched off the "Bad Things" I knew she was falling in love with Sebastian.About Sebastian--he was such a good man. A little clueless but a good man and I thought he was a quick learner. Whenever he realized he'd made a muddle of things with Rosalind he put "safety measures" in place to help it not happen again. I loved his letter to Rosalind apologizing for their missed dinner--you could tell how sincere he was. I liked that he was one of those Duke's that cared about his tennants and helped them.I love that the author writes in dual point of view so the reader knows what each of the main characters is thinking. I really liked that although Rosalind and Sebastian don't love each at the beginning of their marriage, they're cordial and friendly, there was no animosity between them. Being a lover of suspense, I really liked the suspense towards the end of the book and thought it fit well in the overall story in the book. Rosalind and Sebastian are now one of my favorite fictional couples and I onlywish there would be more books with them in it--like a series!!I received a complimentary copy from the publisher Covenant Communications via NetGalley, and I also bought a copy for my personal library. All thoughts expressed in this review are my own.

slow burn romance
Parent guide:Sex: noneProfanity: noneViolence: mildRosalind and Sebastian were betrothed at birth. Each grew up resenting their engagement but could find no way out. With no other recourse, two weeks before the allotted time, Sebastian showed up to do his duty. This is a sweet journey through the awkward stages of getting acquainted to the sweeter stages of falling in love. The writing is decent. The story is believable. The character’s actions are natural. If there are any flaws it’s that Sebastian and Rosalind were too perfect. Maple syrup meets milk chocolate. It’s a little overpowering and not a lot of character arcs needed. This is a slow burn romance with tepid kisses that fade to black. I’d have liked the kisses to stretch a little longer but that’s just me. I recommend this to anyone who likes clean, chaste romance.

Wonderful! Delightful! Clean! LOVED it!
Such a wonderful book! I LOVED it! This whole series has now become an absolute favorite! The characters were so endearing. The development of the romance was believable and enjoyable to watch. I loved how the characters were good people who really tried, but still had weaknesses and things to learn. There were no dumb "misunderstandings", just insecurities that were quickly resolved with communication. So great and refreshing! I even laughed out loud at certain parts. Great dialogue.Sian writes the best kissing scenes! I'm super picky about kissing scenes. I don't like lots of long descriptions, they are uncomfortable and can get inappropriate very quickly. The kissing scenes are sweet and loving! They are perfect!I'm so grateful her books are clean! No languages, sex/innuendo, gore, or dark/creepy elements. Her suspense is exciting and not disturbing.Thank you, Sian, for a delightful, wonderful series! Among my top favorites for sure!

Falling in love in reverse.
What is really unusual here is that this is not a book that ends with the heroes marrying and living happily ever after. Sian turns things around by having the marriage right near the beginning. One that was arranged for them ten years before. So, for the heroes Rosalind Ainsworth and Sebastian Lumley, the Duke of Kelbrook, the story proceeds somewhat in reverse. This is no criticism, it’s refreshing, entertaining and interesting to be following the progress of their relationship through the book. Both their characters and their relationship develop in interesting ways, and definitely improve with time, especially in the case of the duke. The story becomes very exciting nearer the end, and this, together with one of the best character developments I’ve read, make 'An UnfamiliarDuke' my new favourite from this author. Of course, I am used to falling in love with Sian’s female characters, but Rosalind has gained a special place in my heart. A really excellent read.
