    Excellent Crimper for open barrel, B-crimp, W-crimp terminals

This is an excellent tool for the open barrel terminal, sometimes called "B crimp", sometimes called "W crimp".  The parallel jaw design does an excellent job of making a symmetrical crimp.  The tool joints have zero play, which is good because it keeps the dies well aligned.  If you want to be able to open it with one hand you will have to open and close it with two hands fifty times or so, first.  There are no directions except for the label on the box, which lists the range of wire sizes covered by each cavity A through E.  The following table is more convenient than reading the range list. Ins=cavity for insulation crimp  and Con=cavity for conductor crimp.Ins AWG Cond A  14  C A  16  C A  18  D B  20  D B  22  E B  24  E

Tool works well for prototype and small projects.  It is much better than the "all in one" bolt cutter, wire stripper, and wire cutter version.  I bought a second one after 15 years to keep in my truck.

Good tool and easy to use. Have patience and you will get good, repeatable crimps. Used for bike wiring but works on 60s muscle cars too.
