We used these for a kindergarten class party. There are 3 different styles of birdhouses included (5 of each set). The great part was that each birdhouse came in its own sealed bag with all the parts including their own paint, brush, 2 sticker sheets and a small tube of glue. On the flip side, there were no directions on how to put the birdhouses together, but it was pretty self explanatory on how to do that. However assembling them was not as easy as anticipated. Not all the parts fit perfectly, so you definitely needed adult help and possibly two sets of hands. The other issue was keeping the birdhouse intact. Glue was definitely needed, but some instruction on the best placement for the glue would have been helpful, we ended up putting some on each edge/connection point. That brings me to the glue included, it is a small tube and there is plug inside that needs to be removed before use, so kids will need help with that and to be honest as an adult it was also a little tricky to remove. Also, in some cases you may need more glue than provided. Again, it would have been helpful if their were just basic directions included, especially to let you know that you should put the string for hanging on first before assembling the birdhouse otherwise its quite difficult to get the string through for hanging once assembled. Once assembled they were easy to decorate/paint and we have had a few hung outside for a few days now, with no issues of them breaking or coming apart. Overall, it was good project for a group of 6 year olds.

So much fun! Comes with everything! My grandkids loved doing these. It’s not going to keep forever, but they were excited to design their own. I did have to hot glue the houses together once they assembled them. The glue it came with did not work.

These are adorable. Fun and easy to assemble even for 3-10 year olds. It took a few minutes for them to figure out the construction, which is great for their little minds to have the problem solved. I did not help. They were able to figure out side bottom and top and held. The string went inside and had to remove all the sides once to be able to assemble the top correctly. The paint was just right amount and the stickers were up plus, most of the kids did not use all their stickers however they will make great Father’s Day gifts.

Likes, nice put together kit, everything is included and the wooden pieces for the Bird houses are slotted and tabbed to fit. Only a little glue might be required to really make sturdy. And the glue was included. My problem was that some of the pieces would not fit. I had to sand down the tabs along the edged in order to get them to fit in the slots. I bought 3 boxes of these birdhouses and wind chime projects because my daughter hosts and her DSP caregiver host a craft get to together each month for her group in the DD community . We always do a test run on any item that the group will be working with and here is where we found that a lot of the Birdhouses are simply not that easy to put together. Out of one box I had 3 that were matched and assembled fairly easily the rest I had to sand many of the tabs to make fit. 2. I could not get to fit and gave up, setting them to the side and they will not be worked with. The Bird Houses are very cute. The Idea is great. I just wished the pieces were made much more exacting and fit. We don't have time to send these back and get more in the hopes that the next batch will be better. So I'm going to be assembling all of the ones I can to make sure that they are workable and then disassembling the pieces so the group can put them back together. At least we found this before the craft day and can mitigate some frustration that would have ensued. This is costing me time and energy. I paid for kits that in the info and on the box says for age 3+ I think most kids are going to really need some help if they get waylaid with the pieces that need to be sanded to fit. I'm glad I bought them, I just wish the wooden pieces were easier to fit.

Purchased for craft at a party. They were durable for the price. The size was good for kids. Durable as expected the kids found it fun to use.
