Very nicely packaged--arrived quickly and no damage. Can't wait to put these up--they are as described. Very sturdy glass globes, silvery in color, though transparent. Very similar to old style mercury glass. I'm delighted. :)

we are pretty picky about our fixtures. we bought three to go over our island. these look absolutely STUNNING - when light is off, you can't see through them - beautiful. turn the light on and you can see through them - very cool to get two different looks. we get comments every time somebody sees them for the first time. even our electrician commented on them. they feel solidly made - we are really pleasead

They look pretty good but I felt they were a overpriced for the quality. I am keeping them, but the way the glass shade hangs on the fixture isn’t super stable and is hard to make it look straight, also I can see how they would easily be knocked out of position. I put them above my bar. I like the way the crackle glass looks when the light is turned on, but it’s more translucent than I expected. You can see the entire light bulb, so you really need to use a good looking bulb like an Edison.

Got these as pendants over our large kitchen island and they are amazing! Our remodeler was impressed. I love how they are opaque when the lights are off but this changes when the lights are on. Lots of great compliments on their style. I am thrilled

Love these lights over my kitchen island. Off, they’re silver metallic, on, the mercury glass is beautifully transparent. I can’t give this enough stars!

This was a perfect choice for lighting above our kitchen island (as a replacement for can lights). The pictures do not do justice to the actual appearance, which can be changed dramatically with a dimmer and the type of bulb used in the fixture. After trying various bulbs, we decided to use a 7W dimmable soft-white LED, providing plenty of light at full brightness and subtle mood lighting at lower levels. Very pleased with the quality and versatility of the product.

The photo is beautiful, but it doesn't look like this in reality. Maybe when the light is on, but it's just a gray metal look when it's off. I was disappointed and put it right back in the box and returned it. I will say the customer service at Lamps Plus was exceptional.
